Great cordless sander
The media could not be loaded. Needed a cordless sander that won't break a bank and yet to be reliable. Think this ticks it all, it is easy to use, not too noise, has dust collection bag and is not too big. Please note that this does not come with a battery.

well built, works well
Small and compact with lots of power. it works well and is built quite well, nice and solid. the only issue i had is that the sanding disks it comes with didnt stick too well to the sanding pad. other than that, it works well, easy to dust off afterwards to keep it clean

Good sander, one note on batteries
Great little sander, one word of caution though. I have a 5ah DeWalt battery and it isn't the best in this sander, it's too heavy so that the sander doesn't sit level on its own, it tips backwards, not the best for when you are sanding, quite hard to use one handed and keep it level and consistent. I also have 2ah batteries and it is far better with them but the sander is quite hard on batteries so you will be changing them quite often. Aware that you get 3ah, 4ah and the power stack batteries that are more compact and some of them might be a better solution, I don't know, I haven't tried them but just thought I would make folk aware as I think most folk tend to get the 5ah battery.

Wow! This is as good if not better than the corded version
I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am with this cordless sander. I had the corded version which was well used over the last decade so decided to move to the cordless version for even greater convenience. I expected a slight drop in performance given it was battery powered but, I don’t know how they do it, this thing is even better than my old one. Well done Dewalt. You seem to have nailed the cordless power tool range.

Good sander
Excellent sander. This adds to my existing dewalt power tools which all use the same 18v batteries. Can't fault its use and reliability.
