The viewfinder fit my Nikon d7100 perfectly. It makes shooting video so much easier. Not only can I now see the view screen in bright sunlight, I can see the image enlarged for easy focusing. I also love that it goes on and off without having to remove the base plate, making it a snap to switch between shooting video with the view screen and shooting still pictures with the camera's eye piece. Holds in place very well. I would highly recommend getting one if you plan on shooting video outdoors.

This product does what the advertisement says it will do.
Works as well as any at any price. No need to pay more. Mounting is clever and practical. Unit is sturdy. Makes outdoor videography a pleasure.

love it, was looking for something like that for a while. Pity that the plate itself is so expensive (40$) because it's good to have it on other cameras and just carry viewfinder.
