look nice
The solid wood coat rack floor-standing clothes hanger is very practical. It is made of solid wood and has no odor. The installation process is relatively simple and the accessories are complete. There is enough hanging space to hang a lot of clothes, and the overall shape is beautiful

Classic design, good value.
Be forewarned, assembly instructions are minimal. They just tell you where to start, and give you a picture. If you have mechanical aptitude, AND patience, you can do this -- but think ahead. Sort the 2 sizes of screws first, and figure out where the longer ones go (into the base pole). Don't drill new holes. The holes provided are accurate, both in placement and angularity -- although it's not apparent at first.A power driver is no help. Just use an unworn Phillips #2 screwdriver. Leave the screws loose until the end. Then carefully tighten the whole assembly by hand. A slightly worn screwdriver will make it impossible to finish.Once assembled it's sturdy, but not stout. Don't overload it. They should offer a medium-dark woodgrain color, in addition to those listed.

A nice old fashioned wood coat rack UPDATED REVIEW 2/12
I'm leaving my original review at the bottom but this is an update. After a month and a half of heavy use I walked by and noticed the rack was leaning really far. Upon inspection the mid-section of the pole was loose and wobbly. This section is a threaded rod screwed directly into the wood of the pole. Well, apparently with weight on the hangers when we turned the top (which is made to spin) it somehow loosened the middle pole as well (which has to stay screwed in tightly to hold weight). I took everything off of it and removed the center to inspect. At first I thought it had just loosened a bit. But, upon trying to screw back together I noticed it was basically stripped. I'm very good with assembling things and I know I made sure not to over tighten when I put it together as screw-wood is easy to strip out. I think that it had loosened and with unbalanced jacket weight it slowly pulled into the wood cause it to enlarge the hole preventing me from being able to go more than a general tight twist and then unable to hold any weight without becoming unstable again. I tried a few things like plumbers tape and looked for longer threaded rod until I grabbed some gorilla glue. You know some people just used this stuff to glue a wig to their head so well that it couldn't be surgically removed :D I added glue to both sides and inside the screw holes and then screwed it together noting not to over-tighten at all. Glue ran down which I wiped off with a paper towel and then let it dry for hours. It worked. The rack is now better than new. This flaw should be addressed by either instructing to glue it together when assembling or put embedded nuts inside the wood so it can't strip out. All of the above said I still like the rack and when looking at the metal racks I still prefer the look and feel of this one. If this doesn't last I will update one last time to state my experience as my current expectations are to use it for a few years at least. It did take several weeks to get this in but I'm happy I waited. My recommendation to anyone looking is to realize this is real wood, and painted brown. I was kind of hoping for a stained brown but it is clearly labeled so it wasn't a problem when I got it. It comes with predrilled holes in the wood and standard screws with a couple of extra's. Keep in mind it's WOOD! It can split and you can damage it if you do not use the predrilled holes correctly. The instructions are accurate! DO NOT tighten anything beyond 80% until you are done with each section. It will not line up easily if you don't. If you follow all of those common sense directions it takes about 20-30 minutes to assemble. It's light weight but sturdy. It looks like an old school coat rack but is a fraction of the cost of some of the fancier ones. It fits a home with classic style very well IMO.

Cheap and crappy
Poor quality. The wood is very lightweight, and cheap. The screws and screw holes do not line up well. The stability is terrible, and even when the feet are adjusted, the whole thing leans.

Gorgeous!
This was extremely simple to put together and is real solid wood. It is taller than I am and I'm 5ft3 and it holds all of our nanny hats (well over a dozen) and our many umbrellas. It is just beautiful the wood is a lovely dark color that just matches our coat rack perfectly. 10/10 absolutely recommend!

Frustrating to put together, not great quality
The most frustrating awkward thing to put together, took me two hours. Terrible directions.Once done it was ok, a little wobbly at the top even though I tried to get the screws in really tight. The thick middle pole is ungainly but hidden by jackets. Wouldn’t buy it again.

Stylish, Sturdy, and Easy to Assemble!
Easy to assemble with clear instructions. Sturdy and holds multiple items without wobbling. The design fits perfectly in my room, and the wood finish looks great. With 12 hooks, it keeps everything organized. Highly recommend!

Nice and good quality
I realy love this classic style design coat rack . it make with lightweight solid wood, I can easily move it around the house. It has 12 hooks wich the 8 on the top is 360° rotatable, so more convenient when hanging clothes. and the four feet base is more stable .
