I love that this dehumidifier is compact but yet powerful. My son suffers from asthma and allergies so I decided to try it. After several days of using this machine I noted that he is coughing a lot less. My brother bought a similar machine But paid over $250 for it. This one does the job and doesn't even take up any space. It sits on his computer table. I'm glad I made a good decision on this!

We just purchased a 39ft camper which will be our home for the next 8 years while we pay our children's college off. We had read that its important to have a dehumidifier in a camper if you want it to last a long time and stay mold free. We purchased one and its great. I had to read the instructions to figure out how to turn it on (hold the power button until it turns on) but other than that its great. 5 days later we purchased a second one for the other end of the camper. I know this one says its will do a little over 300 sqft but I don't want to take a chance of moisture getting into the walls. Now we have one that stays in our bedroom which is at one end of the camper and one in the living room at the other end of the camper. On average, we have around a 1/4 cup of water taken out of the air per day. There is no way I would have a camper with out this item. Love it!!

This is a pretty nice dehumidifier. I have had two of the larger 50 pint dehumidifiers for my basement and both have quit working... I recently remodeled and added an addition on the house and re-did some of the HVAC so the basement is included in the central HVAC better. Since I did this the need for a large dehumidifier went away, so I went with a smaller one just to maintain and remove a little extra moisture from one or two of the basement rooms.The thing I love the most about this dehumidifier is the noise level. The compressor style ones I had were super loud and I always had to turn them off when I wanted to watch TV or a movie down there. This one is about as loud as a standard desktop computer, so I can just leave it on all the time while watching TV or doing anything in the room down there.I took a few pictures to show what comes in the box and how the display reads. The humidity sensor reacts fairly quick. It started at 40% when I first took it out of the box and powered it on, then in about 2 minutes, it settled at the 48% as shown in the picture. The ideal level for humidity is typically between 30-50%. Any higher mold and such can start to thrive in your house. Any lower and here comes the super dry skin.From looking inside the back of this unit and by the power consumption and noise, this seems to be a thermo-electric style (piezer) dehumidifier. Because of the style and size, it will not do well in very large rooms (such as the entire basement) It is intended more for single room use as stated in the description above. If you have a super wet basement that has large square footage, then you will want to go with a large and expensive compressor style unit to keep up with the moisture levels. For single room or smaller square footage, this thing is great. The power rating on the back showed 75watts which is less than the old school 100watt light bulbs. This is significantly cheaper to run than the compressor style.To turn it on and off, you have to hold the power button (lower button) down for 3-5 seconds. To cycle between humidity display and temp display (in centigrade) then you press the power button for 1 second or less when the unit is powered on. Overall I am quite pleased by this dehumidifier, especially by the noise level.

I really like it a lot!! It's easy to just take out of the box and turn on. We use larger ones for our basement, but I find this one perfect for upstairs areas like the living room, bedroom, or even bathroom if you have a shower that doesn't vent well. I have this in my bedroom (25' x 25') downstairs during the NJ Humid summer where humidity lately has been in the 50-70% range. I've had it about 2 months now and it works really well. The reservoir is about a liter, maybe a little more and in a case of 60-70% humidity it fills up in about 3 or 4 days. The room is noticeably drier and took the humidity down about 8% total to much more comfortable range. Not great but definitely noticeable.My only complaint is small. The interface on the front has no words just weird symbols, almost like Hieroglyphs...No on/off buttons, no arrows, no buttons at all! Just 3 incredibly bright lights, 2 blue and one green/red. In fact, The lights are so damn bright, when i turned off the lights in my bedroom the whole room was completely illuminated to the point where i was able to see everything. The simple solution would be to tape them so the lights arent showing but you can't because the lights also operate the unit. They're capacitive buttons that require your finger touch to operate the unit. It would be like operating your phone with gloves on. Instead i just turned the unit really close to the wall. problem solved and now i'm happy.Pros:-Small and compact (about the size of XBOX One)-Completely Silent-Works noticeably well in small roomsCons:-Extremely bright LEDs (see write-up)-Weird interface buttons are odd and confusing (and i'm a tech guy)-Red light turned on after first use (went from green to red) but the unit works fine despite the mystery red light

We brought this dehumidifier to our RV over the weekend. Worked very well and was quiet. It's small and portable, so I was able to just leave it on the counter.
