biOrb12 Volt Air Pump

Purchased this to replace my original that came with our biorb tank. Easy to install and it works!

This is the 3rd replacement... they do not last forever...

I use this product for my Bio Orb tank

Product works great, but it is the grey pump. Looks nothing like what I ordered. I ordered an all black pump.

It works quite while. My other filter was loud, but this one is so quiet that I don't even know it is on. It's great!

Noticeable pump noise can be heard after 2 weeks. Make sure to place the pump on top of a foam or any type of material that can absorb or dampen the noise/vibration.Update:After using it for approx. 4mos now. Pumped air is weak and not enough pressure to push air volume to give good amount of air bubbles even with new air stone.

Good product. Work well as a replacement pump. Quiet as the original pump.

Note the pump you may receive could be the older model of the Biorb air pump, not the one pictured, as it happened in my case. The pump works fine; however, it is a bit noisy unless you take proper steps to 'outsmart' the design.Place a small rubber mat (slightly larger) than the dimensions of the pump, beneath the device. Make sure the pump does not touch anything in its vicinity. When the pump is on, the vibrations would be cushioned by the rubber mat, rather than your floor. This worked for me, hopefully others can find a similar solutio​n.

Make sure you find a way for it to stop moving around as it vibrates a lot, I've placed mine on top of a soft string woven storage box and I cant hear it. Bit of trial and error as i tried taping it up and bubble wrap. Best thing in my opinion is placing it on something soft.

Bought as a replacement for a pump that stopped working. Works fine.

I ordered this pump as the illustration indicated I was ordering a like for like part. I recently bought a used ex display biorb halo 30 ltr and the pump was quite noisy. Thought best to get new pump before adding fish. I have just received a biorb pump which looks totally different and considering the postage I could have ordered elsewhere via amazon for less than half the price!!! Having said that the pump work very well and so far so good with regard to the noise levels produced. It is I would say 60% quieter than the old pump. I would suggest to the seller to provide an illustration of the actual pump they are selling....
