Great for a Lap Blanket
I crochet a lot. I belong to a local Warm Up America group, and we crochet lap blankets, 35" X 45", for homebound seniors served by Meals on Wheels. I like to use worsted weight and find that Red Heart works best for me. I also like to buy a multicolor yarn which I mix with solids found in the multicolor yarn. I use a fairly large crochet hook, soI can make about 2 blankets per month. I used to crochet about 4 rows/skein. Now I crochet a big patch of the multicolor yarn and then add the solids. I have to keep it fun for me, which I do.

Great yarn!
Beautiful yarn that knits up very nicely! No knots - the yarn pulls easily from the skein - soft. I like it very much and will be buying more of the Aran and very likely some of the other colors.

Love this yarn. So easy to work with. Stiff until the first wash which I'm pretty sure the red heart company purposely makes their yarn this way so its easier to work with. It came out so soft and beautiful!! Made a baby blanket c2c and I'm keeping it for myself to use on vacation..... or I guess I'll give it to my toddler. We'll see.

Day Glow Yarn Is Very Festive!
Love the colors in the yarn. Use it to make spring coasters and placemats. Been buying this yarn and making gifts with it for a long time and friends love the colors.

Not nearly as soft as it could be
The colors are just what I had hoped to find. That being said, I did order it onlinebefore I felt it. This yarn is not as soft and snuggly as I would likefor an afghan. It feels rather coarse. I won’t buy this brand of yarnagain for a blanket or possibly not at all.The solid green is a bit softer but not as I had hoped.Thank you for listening

Exactly what I wanted, but expensive
Once again, I only bought because my local Walmart was out, and I got exactly what I wanted. Good yarn, but expensive for how much I received.
