A pain to use
Theoretically this camera is great - modern, compact design, and it connects to the Web for anywhere viewing - however, it uses Skype (a Microsoft program) to run, and you have to place a video call to connect to it - a major pain. Plus, Skype was down when I bought it! Not a good sign. I sent this back, and ordered a Foscam baby monitor instead - way easier to use. However, that's now failing (monitor quality has greatly decreased in just 3 weeks of use). I would love to hear from anyone who has found a reliable video baby monitor!

This is the stuff. Thesr cameras are dandy!
These lil wifi cameras run on a USB port, hold 64gb cards and record on motion with almost full 360 PTZ. Yes!

Good afternoon, tell me how to get back
Good afternoon, tell me how to get back, or exchanged for defective goods, I bought turned out to be partially defective because it does not start to rotate the camera. Camera does not turn.

Good device, but limited connectivity settings.
I like the features of the device, but as far as I can find, there is no way to connect it to my company network. This is unfortunate because I must now return it...

A good rubik's cube shaped Monitoring Cam
I was a kickstarter contributor for the iSensor HD (reviewed separately) and got this iCam HD as part of the package. Much of my review for the iSensor HD applies to this one as well, and I am just a consumer and real user. Overall the device is approaching 4 stars. Set up of this device is very easy, plug it in, download the App (from Google Play) and away you go. It works fine on my multiple Android devices. FYI, Skype support has ended. Instead, monitoring is done via the App (Android or iOS) and they are adding computer Browser compatibility (for now only Firefox works, it needs Chrome and IE support immediately). Still, the manufacturer has been shipping out firmware releases and App updates fairly regularly which is always a good thing. I’ve also emailed support and got prompt responses, so their customer service is good and that gives them + 1 star. Keep in mind, they are based out of the Netherlands so responses took a day to my emails from the U.S.Pluses:* 720p HD resolution is good.* Saves video to a MicroSD slot, and can upload to Google Drive.* Quality looking product, full 180 rotation, and easily installed.* Live streaming via the App.* New! Live streaming via Firefox, other browsers tbd.* Picture or text alerts via the App, but see comment on the Motion Sensor below.Cons:* 15gb Google Drive upload is maybe one day of HD video (i.e. you really need a lot more Google Drive space to make the uploads useful; if you wanted one week of recordings, that would probably be well over 100gb!).* Motion Sensor works ok indoors; but does NOT work thru a window as a quasi outdoor security camera; this is a limitation of the PIR sensor.* Firmware updates of the unit can be tricky when you have more then one iCam connected to your App; ive got 2 of them and upgrading the 2nd one took many tries. I think the trick is to disconnect your iCams that are already updated, then connect your new iCam so its firmware is updated; then reconnect all of your iCams.* Should have included a mounting bracket. All in all, for the product in general about 3 stars, plus 1 star for good customer service. Hence, the 4 star overall rating. Also the Android App, can for now only control 4 iCams though I was told this may increase in the future. The biggest plus for this unit, is the ability to use a MicroSD card. Note, officially it only supports up to 32gb, but I am using a 64gb MicroSD just fine! You really need a large MicroSD, since even 64 gb is really only holding around 5 days or so of continuous recording. For me this is a still a huge plus, since Dropcam, Simplicam and many others only provide cloud recording via subscriptions which costs add up quickly. I’m also comparing ease of use to older Linksys VGA ipcams that I’ve used for years, and these are much better.

Great camera and product but died after 18 months of use
Unfortunately the camera stopped responding to transmitting a wireless signal and would not reset to allow re-setup/initialization again. Essentially the camera sat in one place in a monitoring situation with little or no moment of the rotating head as well. Surprised and could be indicative of parts-related defects or cheaper components. Would have to say go with the fixed head model if want this camera or be wary of other models to insure longevity of the manufacturer product is consistent with what people are experiencing. Noone needs a monitoring camera to fail just when you need it.
