Ghirardelli Dark and Caramel Sea Salt, Chocolate Squares, 5.32 oz. (Pack of 2)

Dark chocolate lovers, this is it! Just a little square of 72% or 60% dark chocolate, and I feel much better. I really do. It gives me a sugar rush and seems to calm me down. The National Institute of Health has noted that "Consumption of 40 g of Dark and Milk chocolate daily during a period of 2 weeks appears to be an effective way to reduce perceived stress in females." Eat that chocolate; it's good for you. This package of Ghirardelli Chocolate Intense Dark Chocolate is the best commercial chocolate I can find. Its little squares are just perfect for a pick-me-up.

Good quality chocolate. Not too sweet. More of the sweetness comes from the raspberry filling.

Perfect candy

These are very good, like most of the Ghirardelli squares. Not overly sweet, which is perfect for dark chocolate. I'm very happy they're expanding the dark chocolate square options as I'm not much for milk chocolate. The darker, the better! ;)These are a nice balance between extremely dark & sweet enough for a little change of pace when I'm craving something other than straight dark chocolate.I can't tell there's "sea salt" in them, but I'm not sure I'd want to. Other than high end hand made chocolates with a few grains of sea salt on top, I don't really get the whole "salt in chocolate" trend. Yes, it works for chocolate covered pretzels, but that's because there's a pretzel in there.Overall, these are wonderful.Edit 3/13/14I have these on "subscribe & save" but am putting them off for the time being. They're up almost $4 since I got them 3 months ago. That's INSANE! I'll do without, thank you!
