This Gets Heavy Use
I love this bread baker, it works so well and produces such a nice sized and shaped loaf. It has also simplified my baking. The base and lid are quite solid and the bread browns evenly, I do not need to use a baking stone. With the lid on, it traps the moisture so it is not necessary to add water pans. I have baked both yeasted and sourdough breads in this baker, it has been great for both.I joked that I should get a commission on these as now a couple of my friends bought them on my recommendation and love it too. The only thing I would like to see improved is the handles, I am always a bit nervous removing the top during the baking process, it is not bad when using oven mitts but I always hold my breath that I will get it off smoothly without dropping it.

Perfect sourdough baker
This is a great little oven for making sourdough. The crust is just right. Easy to use, easy to take in and out of oven. I do wish the inside of the lid had enamel to make for easier cleaning. I love the ivory color.

Perfect first time
First of all, the product is beautiful. First time baking loaf bread using their recipe that was included the most perfect loaf came out. This product is totally worth the price. Will be impossible to have store bought bread again. They have a nice recipe that allows you to make the dough at night and bake it first thing in the morning. This size is a huge loaf (I have a big family), but you could slice and freeze half to not have to bake as often. Or I am sure the smaller version is great too. I will be slowly collecting all of their products.

Great Product
I love it. Make sure when you use the recipe that comes with it that you use the metric units measurements. The conversion they have is off.Also, it does seem to be fragile so store in a not so busy place in the kitchen.The bread looks very moist and tasted very good. Came out as if it was from a bakery.

*Love* this bread baker
I'm obsessed with making sourdough bread and this baker is the latest addition to my "kitchen family". As with all Emile Henry stoneware, it distributes heat beautifully and performs exceptionally well. And the matte linen glaze is just gorgeous. Very happy with this purchase!

Fabulous Baker for Bread
Excellent quality baker for breads. Sized for full sandwich sized dimension large loaf, unlike loaf pans that have narrow base and width which produce narrow base loaves and overflow top. Bakes bread to perfection, with wonderful crust and texture. Very nicely made, quality ceramic and glazing. For bread lovers this is the baker.

Easy lifting
Beats having to lift a heavy cast cocotte, although I still use both the Staub and Emile Henry bread baker when I need to make two loaves. I just find it easier to slice the loaf than the cob. Makes beautiful bread.

Le résultat est impeccable!
J’en avais assez des miches mais j’adore mon pain maison, ce moule est une super alternative ! Voici la photo de mon premier pain sans pétrissage dans ce moule. Cuit à la perfection, moelleux à souhait avec une belle croûte croustillante. J’utilisais une cocotte en fonte Creuset pour cuire mes miches, le résultat avec ce moule est légèrement supérieur pour la croûte. Pour le double de farine que j’utilisais pour mes miches, mon pain a été cuit en 5 minutes de moins à la même température (sans doute à cause de la forme). Nul besoin de cuisson sans couvercle pour obtenir cette belle couleur, j’ai simplement retiré le couvercle à la fin de la cuisson, éteint le four et laissé la porte entreouverte pour 15-20 minutes avant de le retirer du four et le démouler sur une grille. Mon colis a été livré dans les temps indiqués et le moule n’a absolument aucune imperfection. Un peu cher à l’achat, mais même si je ne me le suis pas procuré dans le but d’économiser, au prix où est le pain actuellement, mon achat sera amorti avant longtemps ☺️ Je vous recommande!
