Freeze took out the old plug and it was dripping. This part went in easily and the pressure washer is back in business.

This part saved me from buyer a new water compressor pump. Works as stated. Just be aware of your oil level because I lost my first thermal release valve due to heat for low oil.

Works like the original, after removing the broken piecein the pump. The was problem to overcome and amazon didn't help me with at all LOL.Not easy but after blow torch and and a drill bit helped me remove the broken valve from inside the pump. Hooray!

Not being a plumber, i mistakenly took 3/8" for face value
Actually, in the industry, 3/8" measures well over 1/2", so I thought a mistake had been made when this unit was too large to fit my machine. Actually, my machine requires the 1/4" NPT unit, which measures closer to 1/2", so I was not able to use this unit, but it appears to be well made and should work just fine.
