Driftsun Soft Top Rigid Stand Up Paddleboard 11ft SUP

I was reluctant to buy a paddle board online because this is really an item you want to see and feel in person. I bought it because it was in the price range I wanted and visually looked like an attractive board. I was surprised when it arrived in 2 days after ordering! The box it came in looked a little beat but the board was in perfect condition.I haven’t had a chance to bring it out yet but it tentatively gets a 5. It looks great, feels durable yet soft, and was at the right price for me. It is surprisingly light as well. Once I bring it out on the water I’ll update my review!

The board is stable and handles moderate waves from boat wakes ok. I would not take this to the ocean. The flex in the board is noticeable and the manual says that the material is more flexible when it is exposed to heat which is a drawback to its performance as the board will most likely be used in hot weather! You can’t strap it down tightly because the manual cautions that you could blemish the board permanently The material that covers the top allows for good grip but it is so soft that it can be damaged easily. No pets on this board unless you don’t care about scratches all over. The material wraps around the edges so rubbing against anything will leave a mark or deep groove. Very poor choice of material and it’s placement on the edges. The bottom of the board is covered with a thin layer of foam covered with a hard plastic. It leads me to believe that it can be ripped or torn away from coming into contact with any type of rock or sharp object that may be on the beach or shoreline. I think the description of the board on Amazon was misleading as it claimed that the bottom was ABS plastic it neglects to tell you that it is plastic coated so what you’re buying is a foam core board covered with foam plastic on the bottom and foam grip on the top and edges that is easily damaged on both sides and edges.An update:I contacted the seller through Amazon and also let Amazon know of the poor quality of this product. I noticed that the board bottom started to bubble a couple of days after I had the board. I took pictures of the defect to send to the seller. It was to my surprise that they offered me a full refund for the board. The product may not be top quality but the service is. I would recommend doing business with this seller because of the fast service and their ability to recognize a poor product problem.

I’m very happy with this paddle board. I’m just a beginner and I’m very confident on it. I just wish it were a little lighter.

Good board but gets pretty dirty and stains the top foam layer pretty easily. Really like it other than that.

Took the board out for a two hour paddle as soon as it came in and I love it. It's nice and stable, a bit easier to balance on than my inflatable board, and easy to maneuver. The fin was simple to install. The clamp that holds the paddle at a fixed length was loose when it arrived - there was nothing in the manual about this but I figured out you have to twist the tab thing a few times to tighten the screw. Really glad I got this board!

I rarely write reviews, but I am mad about this product, especially since it is not that cheap. Usability of the board is great. I am an avid board user and this is not my first. However, on my sixth outing (regular use in easy rivers) the underside of the board has begun to bubble. There is no water in it; it appears the adhesive is coming undone. This board has been well taken care, rinsed after use and stored in a garage on a rack. My other board from a different company that was ordered at the same time has NO Problems. This one however is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Great board but took off one star because it dings and dents easily.

I liked how light weight it is for a paddle board.
