A&E CAGE CO 32-Inch by 21-Inch Flight Cage and Stand, Platinum

I got this for my parrotlet and am liking it so far. I was a bit worried about the reviews people left complaining about broken trays, but mine came intact! (The tray is a thick plastic, but I can imagine a good smack from any of these heavy metal components could do it in and my box did arrive damaged.) I like that the wheels roll- and smoothly, too- because it makes vacuuming a breeze. Those little side doors aren't particularly useful except to reach an arm in when you're trying to mount a toy or perch towards the back, but the front door is large and great. As far as sturdiness goes, it's really not all that bad. The bars do flex, but that'd only present a problem if you intend on taking a bat to the side of the cage or had a particularly large parrot, in which case you shouldn't even be getting this cage because a bird like that requires one much larger and with thicker bars anyway.Easy to clean, spacious and likely very suitable for a bird up to a conure size. I'm pleased with my purchase. It's a great cage for what I paid and practical. Did not come with assembly instructions, but was easy enough to figure out. I anticipate this being easy to disassemble too, which is at least important for me since I will be moving to school with my bird.

It’s spacious. It has no door on the sides for food and drink changes outside the cage. You either must use the side nesting doors or the big front door and with either, it’s easy for birds to escape. It’s sturdier than other flight cages I have had but isn’t as sturdy as other cages with similar wire spacing.

The media could not be loaded.  First off, this is NOT a white cage. But in the description it says it’s PLATINUM so I purchased it knowing and wanting a grey /silver cage.It’s a GREAT cage. Yes, the assembly instructions are a joke, good luck. It took me a good hour putting this together alone, and that’s just bc I had to guess the directions of some of the panels. Overall, great cage for the price

I really don't feel I should have to pay 29. for return shipping when I am returning the cage because it is NOT white as described. It is light colored, but definitely Not white.

Overall the cage is fairly nice. It is spacious and provides plenty of space for my parakeets to fly from perch to perch and to keep toys. Its a nice grey color, which is one of the main reasons I chose this cage. The finish is nice and smooth and the metal seems good. However it does have some problems and while it isn't bad, the quality is not what I expected from a cage at this price. The main issue is that the stand is not at all stable. The cage cannot be moved or even bumped into without the stand going crooked. It cannot be rolled without taking it out of the stand or having someone help you hold the stand straight while you roll it. Besides that a bar came bent and the nesting box doors either don't shut completely or are slightly bent. This might be a problem if your birds like to wedge into or play with gaps, but mine don't. The lock also sticks slightly but is still workable, you just have to be careful. I've had the cage abput three months and it has gotten slightly better but still sticks noticeably. Overall it's still a nice cage. It looks very nice and has a very nice tray and the space I was looking for, but the stand is a problem, and while the problems other than that aren't serious, overall the quality isn't what I was expecting from a cage this price and it just doesn't seem as durable as I hoped. I'm hoping if I am careful with it it will still last, because I bought this cage needing something that will last my parakeets at least several years, if not longer.

The media could not be loaded.  It is a GREAT size for my black capped conure. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2-3 small sized birds or 1-2 medium sized birds.I honestly have no complaints. It is easy to open with one hand, the maintenance doors are good sizes for quickly changing food and water bowls. There’s plenty of space for a ton of small perches or a few large ones. I don’t recommend using the dowel perches - if you do put them low so your bird uses them the least - or using the plastic containers for food but they are great for foot toy storage.Wasn’t too difficult to assemble though the instructions are not helpful - I recommend looking up a video of someone assembling the cage, it really helped me.My little guy was saved from a bad pet store and I know he’s happy to have a bigger space, hopefully your birds will love it too.

My cage is about 4 years old and the grate is started to rust a fair amount. I have tried contacting A&E multiple times for months but they are not responding. It is so wasteful to replace a whole cage because one piece has issues but because their customer service is so poor, I will have to do that.Never buying from A&E again

I chose this one from a variety available. Love the platinum color...my budgies are very easy to see. Love the big doorway...looked at a few with upper and lower doors which never would have worked when I placed toys and perches in cage. Fairly easy to put together...very poor instructions but easy to figure out. The stand has a shelf quite handy for storing food containers and there are two openings for breeding boxes should I decide to pursue that. It is easy to keep clean with slide out pan. The main thing is my parakeets are happy! They have room to fly and play and are a delight to watch!
