Bought these for both of my kids, and even though I thought I was sizing up slightly so that they'd fit all summer, I had to return both pairs for the next size up. So order bigger than you think! I think it's because the material is on the tight side, the toes will be squished if they're all the way to the front of the toe box. Now that we have the next size up, they're slightly on the large size but at least they won't be too small half way through summer like last year's water shoes were!

Easy to put on for squirming toddlers. Comfortable (they haven’t complained once) and right to size (plus the stretchy fabric won’t make them tight).They don’t dry up as fast as I expected, but these are their favorite water shoes so far.

PERFECT for the lake. No velcro or breaking them in. We have ordered these twice and they are great! Order a size up if you want them to last 2 years... they basically stick like glue to your kids feet so size doesn't matter unless they are too small and their toes are crunched OR if they are too big and they can't walk without scrapping the front. But we have ordered a size bigger than what our child is in because of the odd sizing AND so they fit longer. I actually want to get me and my husband each a pair of the adult ones!

My daughter has wide feet and overlapping toes so finding shoes that are comfortable is always a challenge. We first bought her some water shoes from a shoe store and they really cramped her toes so I thought I'd give these a try. They are PERFECT for her. Even though we bought her one size up, they fit snugly around her ankle so won't fall off and her toes have lots of room. She loves them.

These are great!! My daughter is 3 and a little fish. She can swim in the pool for hours. The problem is she gets the raw spots on her feet (cherry toes we call them) from them rubbing on the wall and steps. These are lightweight and easy for her to put on. They prevent cherry toes perfectly. They do fly off sometimes when she kicks or jumps in but any smaller and they may be too tough for her to put on herself.

So, we ordered 2 pairs, one for our little boy, and one for our little(r) girl. The boys size was 11.5-12.5 M (shown as 30/31 on right), while the girls size was 9.5-11 M (shown as 28/29 on left). Somehow, and I promise it's not a mirage, the smaller size is slightly larger than the smaller size. Now, we love the shoes, and don't want to return hers since she'll grow into them. However, we're to unsure as to what size to now order.... the same size which might be (correctly) smaller, or, a smaller size that might be correctly... well... too small. Ugh!!!

Why did I listen to all the reviews telling me it was okay to size up. Wrong! If I would of ordered the correct size they would of been perfect. My child does not have wide feet. But the way these fit they need to be snug and the correct size. My son wears a 3 in Nike and I ordered up to a 4 and they are a inch maybe inch and a half to big and the gap doesn't go from tip toes to front of shoe it goes in the back so there's a large gap at the heel. It's odd. Order your child's current shoe size no need to order up

I bought these for my two-year old twins to take on a Europe vacation for swimming. Where we go there is a lot of concrete and slippery areas. They were GREAT!! The fit was just right, and they were really easy to put on, stayed on well, and dried very quickly. I would highly recommend these for anyone who wants to protect little feet from hot or slippery concrete - they did their job for a great price.

Look great but wear out quickly
