70 lumen non-polar LEDs work very well in a vintage vehicle.
I installed these LEDs as direct replacements for the GE57 incandescent bulbs used for the instrument gauge lights in my 1958 Chevy truck and they are perfect. Some older reviews say they wouldn't work because the polarity may not be correct (and rotating the bulb cant fix that). The Yoper BA9S LEDs I purchased said in the description that they are non-polarized, meaning that they are not polarity dependent and indeed they worked fine with no issues.I wanted to keep the original gauge light color and intensity and was concerned that they didn't offer bulbs in a warmer color range to match an incandescent bulb (3500-4000) but the 70 lumen white light color (6000 range) of these LEDs turned out perfect. The light intensity is definitely better so I can actually see the gauges at night, yet they still maintain their nostalgic green tint due to the paint used in the gauge assembly. IMO, they are not too bright but be advised that their brightness cannot be turned down. I suspect that is because the old Chevy light switch is not capable of adjusting the resistance in the range needed for the LEDs to respond. I found other similar bulbs that were 100 lumens but am glad I went with the 70 lumen ones.Vintage vehicles will benefit from the reduced amp draw of LEDs which is a plus for the 65 year old electrical wiring.

Very bright
They fit to replace the side marker light in my old 70s car, they are alot brighter than the stock bulbs making the red lens almost appear to be orange.

The bulbs are smaller in diameter
The bulbs are actually smaller than the standard bulbs, and do not fit in the receptacles very well at all they want to come out they are not the same diameter as the regular lightbulbs trying to make them work very difficult. I can put the old ones in and pull them out in two seconds these it takes 10 minutes to get one in because they don’t fit properly. Not very happy with the product.

perfect for old classics
these are perfect for the dash of an AC Cobra and also daytona. They are not stupid bright, but a perfect clear white light as expected. most at the auto stores were so bright they blind you at night when your driving.I also bought the red ones, for the daytona coupe.... they work just as these and not 100% sure ill keep the red ones in, as i prefer the white but wanted to try something different.simple install, and super low power draw makes it a no question asked install and recommendation.

They do what they should. Replacing a similar incandescent on my sailboat mast for longer life and better efficiency. Hoping it has longevity

No weird shadows
The cap over the led lights up completely and gives off a nice solid color no dim spots filled the marker light housing very nicely, great replacements for my old bmw

Very bright
These red LED's are better than I expected. I installed them in the gauges in my 1949 Pontiac and they look great.

Bright but did not fit classic car dash
These bulbs were a replacement for instrument cluster bulbs on a 1960's Ford Mustang. They worked fine from the car's 12v power source but did not fit well in the bulb sockets (1895 socket) so I would not recommend these as a direct 1895 replacement in this situation.
