Bought this as a gift for my pigeon. (Yes, really) Bill loves it and enjoys running back & forth under the clapper making the chimes ring above his head. I love it. Bill’s cage is in the living room and the chimes are soft enough that they don’t interfere with listening the tv or music, and melodious enough that I enjoy hearing them when the rest of the house is silent - especially when Bill wakes up earlier that I do and/or starts playing with them in the middle of the night. In fact, he’s playing them right now. 😀 And, the note they included was really cute. I removed 1 star for packaging because the box was flimsy & had come open, but it was inside the outer bag & the chimes were wrapped well enough that there was no damage. If they had shipped without the outer bag, that might not have been the case, and it would have been difficult if I’d wanted to wrap them as a gift for a human. Once Bill eventually goes to a perch in the sky, those chimes are mine. They’re keepers.

The media could not be loaded. I put this wind chime up on April 3rd and it is June 2nd as I write this. The wind chime was very thoughtfully packaged to prevent the strings from becoming twisted or knotted. Since being placed in the tree, it has withstood very windy days and powerful thunderstorms without falling, becoming entangled, rusting, or breaking. I am very impressed by the quality of this wind chime and it makes me so happy to hear the beautiful sounds it creates. Every garden should have a wind chime! For me, they evoke a sense of calm and tranquility, as well as nostalgia for the summers of my early childhood. They make a yard (or a patio or porch) feel more like part of the home. I've always wanted a wind chime and this one was everything I hoped it would be: the perfect level of soft, delicate background noise. It would be an excellent gift for a housewarming, for a budding gardener, or for anyone else who needs a touch more comfort and relaxation in their home.

Tinkly, bright sounding. Non-intrusive even when thrashed by the wind. Activates easily as the breeze stirs.Quite happy with it.Kind of basic, bland, soulless look. Not much character here.Durable? IDK. I took the precaution of slathering Sno-Seal (beeswax) on the cords and wood to help it fend off rain. We'll see how it lasts. Going on six months now with no sign of weathering - no rust or wood discoloring, or crackage. (Though I do take it indoors for rain events, if I remember, so it doesn't get wet for long. Yeah. I'm cautious.)

Light weight, this chime tinkles in the lightest breeze in a high soprano tonation. Well-constructed, attractive and fairly priced. If you like the higher sound it is helpful to remember that slim-tubed chimes sound in light breezes while the deeper sounding mezzo and bass chimes need large heavy tubes and a strong wind to get even the slightest tune. I love all chimes and they occupy my wrap around porch as well as the patio and gardens of my coastal home entertaining with peaceful, joyful sounds that help center one in this wonky pandemic times.

Hello! I wanted to write to the shop owners about how I used this wind chime, but was unable to find a website. So hopefully they will receive this review and know how much this wind chime now means to our little crew. I work as a manager of a doggy day care and boarding facility. It’s a wonderful job, but unfortunately, sometimes the dogs we love so much pass away. I wanted to make some sort of memorial for the pups we’ve lost this year, and this wind chime was perfect for it. I guess I should apologize for altering your beautiful work, but I really just want to say thank you. I wish you could see the reaction of the pet parents that see this chime and see their dogs name on it. This wind chime means a lot to many people. Thank you so much for your craftsmanship and care.

I wanted a small one to use for keeping deer away from a garden. The size is perfect but it takes a lot of wind to make any noise and then that is still fairly quiet. I was needing one that was louder but I guess the size and shape makes a difference there. If you just want a quiet wind charm this one is fine and the price is right. I was able to rig it up to a fence in a corner that will make it jiggle when the raccoons climb the fence so in that respect it is doing the job intended.
