Easy application looks good

The graphics went on well and look great. I did have to trim them down which was not a problem. These graphics went on relatively easy compared to other similar graphics I have tried.

Overall the product is good, but if you want perfection you will be disappointed the first time you try this. The stripes were a little long, but cut down to size fine. The vinyl is thin. This means it stretches over curves easy, but is likely to bubble. Here are a few tips.1. When you get it, it was rolled up, and the top clear layer was bubbled up. Lay it out flat on a table and run a warm iron over it to flatten it out.2. Clean the surface of the car at least twice, then do it again before you apply. Dust is your enemy.3. Make sure the car is in the sun for a bit to warm up.4. Lay down painters masking tape on the outside edge as a guide. Measure from the center to make sure the stripes will go down symmetrically.4. Mist the hood with water. Easier to get the water even than misting the vinyl5. Once you place the strip, gently squeeze the bubbles out. Don’t press hard as the glue will stick down and trap bubbles. Also you can scratch the surface of the vinyl.That’s all. I will try it again and give an update

I should’ve known because the price was so much cheaper than the rest so it is my fault. However, these bonnet stripes are made with very bad quality material. The vinyl and the masking are too thick. Not only that but the masking (the clear on the front of vinyl) has bubbles and 50% of the masking is not touching the vinyl. It is just horrible to work with. When you try to take the backing off in order to apply the vinyl sticks to the backing better than the masking. It was not just a bad set because I am dumber than dirt and I thought the first asset was just bad and ordered a second set of bonnet stripes and the second set was probably worse then the first. Do yourself a favor and pay for more expensive bonnet stripes it’ll be better quality vinyl material

So, as nice as it looks when I was done, it took a long time to get these on. They were wider than the original mini stripes with the red on each side. Issue there is it’s 3 pieces. 2 quarter inch or less red stripes (one on each side) with the fat black piece in the middle.Do you think when I got to the curve on the front of the bonnet I could get those red stripes to stay lined up? Noooope. So they went in the trash and what you see is what I got. Now the black stripes aren’t fat enough, they don’t cover the lines from the old stripes. If you’re using them for a long straight not bending surface, have at it. Not designed as advertised.Nice piece of vinyl. Looks sharp, unfortunately not what I ordered.

The decals float on clear backing tape. Tricky to keep lines straight

Film was rolled up in a very small box and the film was already separated and bubbling, not to mention the stripes were about 2 feet to long from my R56 hood. I went out and measured after I opened the box and was even more disappointed.
