Awesome puzzle
These wooden puzzles are a cut above cardboard. The shapes are clever and creative. Great for a group or family over the holidays. Think of the price as the equivalent in movie tickets.

good quality, but very easy and loose fit
I have done many wooden jigsaw puzzles; with the introduction of laser cutting, they are far more affordable than they used to be. This puzzle has definite strengths and definite weaknesses.The strengths: the quality of construction is good. The image is attractive. The cut itself (where the pieces are, what shapes they are, etc) is extremely good.The bad: The cut is very loose. The laser was simply set on too wide a setting when they made the puzzle, perhaps because they were trying to reduce lasering time. As a result, the puzzle is *so* loose that if you put it together and then pull on opposite corners, it gets 1/2-1" bigger in each direction! That means that you can't turn it over (I like to look at the grain on the back of the puzzle sometimes), and the single biggest advantage of a wooden puzzle -- the tight "swish" of the fit when you put a piece in -- is lost. It also makes it occasionally hard to *get* a piece in, because the adjacent pieces have shifted enough that it doesn't fit without a bunch of jiggling. A wooden puzzle just shouldn't be like that.The other thing to know is that this puzzle is really easy. My wife and I, working together, completed it from start to finish in about two hours. Puzzles can offer phenomenal value for money in terms of dollar spent for hour of entertainment; this puzzle definitely doesn't do that.All things considered, however, it *was* fun to assemble. But I think Liberty's puzzles are better and comparably priced, and especially enjoyed their Grizzly Bear puzzle. Stave puzzles are the best but the price is unreal, typically $9-10 PER PIECE.

Favorite puzzle ever!
This puzzle was so much fun to put together. We have already built it twice since Christmas. The designs of the puzzle pieces are so cute. Love it!

Buy two, one for a gift, one for yourself!
Got this as a gift for my mom and wanted to keep it for myself! The pieces were such fun shapes and the colors are amazing!
