Great for Daily Use!
Please Note: I am not a member of any armed forces, but I have been wearing these boots virtually daily for 10 months.I bought these to replace the Belleville brand boots I took from my dad (the Bellevile boots are very old and don't fit right). I very much like military style boots, and I wanted to find a pair to use daily. Reebok appealed to me because of their amazon prime status, price, and most importantly color/size/insulation/safety-toe options. I wanted a pair I could use year 'round so I opted for the non-insulated pair. At the time, I spent several days of the week in a machine shop, so I selected the safety toe option. If available, I would have opted for a waterproof and safety toe version. These are my observations:-The boots took one day of standing/ walking for 8 hours to break in. My feet were sore, but after that I had no problems. They are very comfortable and the athletic insert provides good cushioning for standing/ walking/ trail hiking. I have not done any regular running in these boots, so I cannot comment on that subject. Combined with wool socks, they have kept my feet warm for short excursions into Missouri winter weather. These are not insulated, so extended stays in the cold may become uncomfortable. In the summer, they are breathable enough to be comfortable but are obviously warmer than sneakers.-The tread is very deep on these, deeper than any other shoe I've seen. I am sure it helps with traction on loose dirt or snow.-I very much enjoy the black smooth leather. Most boots now days seem to be moving toward the suede desert or olive. This is a personal preference, but I am glad that Reebok still offers smooth black.-These boots are not supposed to be waterproof, and they are not. They have protected my feet from heavy rain, but if you step in deep water that reaches the boot's tongue, your feet will soak.-At first I was reluctant to get boots with a side zipper (another feature apparently becoming standard), but they ended up being very convenient. These boots will not come off unless they are untied or unzipped, and the zipper is a way quicker option. There is a small velcro flap to restrict the zipper from becoming accidentally moved during use. In addition, the zipper seems to be of great quality and has not faulted once.-The composite safety toe seems to work well. Thankfully, nothing serious has tested their quality, but no flexing or cracking has resulted from my friends jumping/ stomping on them to see if they work (not very scientific- I know).-The boots are 100% metal free, which will be a plus if I have to go through a metal detector often. However, I have still had to take them off for airport security.-The leather is at least good quality, but the color has been scuffed on lumber and other hard things I bump my feet into. Black leather polish covers the scuffs nicely though.-Overall, the boots seem to be of good quality, but some of the stitching has frayed and had to be cut off. This doesn't affect performance and hasn't become a problem, but it worries me that these boots may not last as many years as the Belleville boots have.Final thoughts: These boots have performed slightly better than expected for the cost. I would recommend these for someone looking for a military style, safety toe boot. My only regret for this review is that I did not have a pair of new "Made in the USA" boots to compare with. Again, I am not part of the US military so I can't comment on adherence to regulations or performance while on duty and whatnot.

Best boots ever
I've been wearing these boots since converse originally made them and I've never been disappointed in them since Rebok bought the design over 20 years ago. It's just like wearing a pair of tennis shoes, very comfortable. I especially like the model 8894

So far, so good with one slight issue.
I purchased a pair of size 10's a couple weeks back for work. I'm an instructor at a training center so I spend quite a bit of time standing up and moving around. Prior to these, I had been wearing an awesome pair of 1st gen Nike SFB's (way better than the current version) for about 3 years.Having worn those for so long, transitioning to these Reebok's wasn't too bad. It definitely took some getting used to just because of the shear size of these boots compared to the Nike's. These are also my first pair of boots with side zippers so that took some getting used to as well. It makes a world of difference when putting them on and removing them, which is super quick, and it's convenient in the sense that I can just leave the laces tied. I'm definitely sold on side zipper boots now.In terms of weight, these boots are surprisingly light weight considering the size and bulkiness of the boots. Compared to the Nike's, these boots are bulky! At first, I felt like I was wearing Super Mario jump boots, haha. The boots themselves are pretty comfortable though after about a day or two break in period. The size of these boots feel true to size, but width wise, they seem to be a little wider than normal. The toe box is a little wider too, but I actually prefer that my toes have some extra wiggle room. Ankle support is good, but it feels a little stiff, but no stiffer than other boots. I attribute that to the fact that I got used to wearing the Nike's for so long. The only con about these boots in my opinion is the side zipper design. On the inside of the boot where the zipper and the tongue of the boot meet, there is excess material for the tongue. On my left boot, that excess material has a crease that is folded and sticks out a smidge. But it sticks out enough to where it causes a hot spot on my ankle and it is somewhat painful after about 5 minutes of wearing them. I've mitigated that but consciously making the effort to reposition and flatten the seam before putting the boots on. I'm confident that after continued use, that excess material will soften up and flatten out. All things considered though, I subtracted a star because of this one issue that I encountered., And the fact that Amazon doesn't allow for half star deductions.Overall, these boots are worth getting for the price I paid. Quality and finish out of the box is great and the boots feel good after breaking them in. If your on the fence about them, I would say to pull the trigger and pick up a pair of these.

Better than $250+ boots.
I’m in boots over 14 hours a day and these boots were made for comfort. Exceeds quality over boots that costs over $250. This is my second pair. The big zipper will last a long time and zips up with ease. Made for hot environments. Made with a composite toe for safety.

For the price… pretty darn good
PROS-extremely comfortable-lightweight-can walk several miles in them without my feet hurtingCONS-they don’t last nearly as long as i wish they would’ve-the inside by the back of the heal starts to tear away can be solved by putting duct tape at the back of the healOverall for the price they’re pretty good. I’ve worn danners mostly before but my work pays for $150 for boots. Unfortunately i walk about 7-8 miles a day at work and they only last about 6 months. If you don’t walk as much you will love them

Horrible boot
Reebok missed the mark on comfort here these are the worst choice of boots I’ve made. I thought after breaking them in they would be alright but even after almost three weeks they kill my feet even after changing the insoles. They are water resistant but the fit is horrible if you like blisters on your ankles then this is the boot for you the good thing is they are composite toe and lighter than steel toes also the side zip is great I give it a 3 out of 10Now it’s time to go back to my previous boot as these will just sit in the closet because they aren’t even worth a garage sale in good conscience
