An excellent carver and a great value
Most of my better knives are Global, which I love. I bought this because it fits in with those knives appearance-wise and was rated well. After a few months of ownership, I can say that this is a fantastic value. I've used it numerous times to trim meat for my smoker which requires a high degree of maneuverability. The knife is comfortable in-hand for long durations. It is superbly sharp out of the box, holds its edge well and sharpens easily. What I really appreciate is the precision with which I can cut. I'll but more!

Good basic fillet knife
It looks good. The handle fits comfortably in my hand, the blade seems to hold a sharp edge well, and the shape of the blade lends itself to filleting. It's lighter than it looks, which makes it easier to handle. I have no complaints. I'll update the review if it doesn't hold up after a few months of use, but so far I'm quite pleased.

Dull as could be
This knife just arrived today. It's sharp near the handle but incredibly dull near the tip. I'm sending it back.

Not a fish fillet knife
Not a great fish fillet knife. Not sharp or flexible enough. Use it for deboning meat such as beef or chicken.
