Buy it one size bigger than your size
This bathing suit is made well and despite it conservative style is flattering. But it runs small. I bought my size and felt I was being suffocated by it. Having said that, I have a long torso. So much so, I usually can't buy one piece anything. That's not the case with this, the length fit me perfectly. which may be to say, if you have a short torso this suit might be to long for you. bottom line: well made, flattering (Maybe because it was soooo dang tight I looked skinny,) perfect for sports (keeps it all in,), RUNS SMALL, well priced for sure!, and well that's enough , buy it ... one or two sizes larger than you size.

Buy 2 sizes up
It does runs small and tight. I’m 5’6 in height 112 lbs relatively thin, I got a size 6/32 and ITS TIGHT. I can wear it for sure, but I could have fit better in a size up. But I love quality and color and fit etc.

Not Ideal for Hourglass Shapes
This swimsuit runs very small, or rather, it’s designed to be a snug, performance-style fit—perfect for professional swimmers. Unfortunately, it’s just not made for my body type. I’m a 32DDD with a smaller waist and wider hips, and the fit was uncomfortable with no support for a larger bust. If you have a similar shape, this may not be the best choice.

Performance suit
This was super small. I bought for a 12 y.o. joining swim team and needed suits to practice in. They’re about 5’ maybe 125-ish. Thicker from waist down. She’s typically a women’s medium and the size chart puts her around small to medium but I read the comments and got a large. It barely fits but it fits. I read through the difference between performance suits vs the leisurely one so I get how it’s supposed to fit. There’s barely any stretch compared to a normal suit. It truly is compression and flattens you out. I was afraid it might hurt at the straps or legs but no complaints after two hours in it. Will see as time passes how it holds up. Will likely get a size bigger for an additional suit.Read the product description to research before buying. My kid is joining a competitive swim team and it’s what she needed for training. This isn’t a leisure suit and doesn’t have breast pads or any of the access that will slow down a competitive swimmer. This may not be what you’re looking for but if it is, size up like a lot. Sizing up twice for us was barely fitting. Will update as use increases. After one use, one wash, and no dryer, color seems intact. She’s a bit modest but seemed comfortable in its coverage. Will also add that I only purchased because of the reasonable sale price of 20 bucks. I likely would have chosen something different at a higher price point.

Should’ve sized up
I’ve always thought Speedo when I think about swim suits, I was in swim team when I was younger and have always remembered the quality and duration. This suit still measures up. The quality of the material is great, it stretches a little bit so it fits like a nice glove. It was really comfortable until I gained about 15lbs. and because I didn’t size up it’s too tight in the butt and crotch area especially. I’m really bummed because I love how light the suit feels but the material is thick enough that it will stand up to a few years of chlorine and never become see through or wear out too soon. The biggest reason I went back to speedo was because I needed a swimsuit that definitely won’t fall off and I wouldn’t fall out of. I only had the opportunity to use it about a month before I moved and didn’t have access to a pool so I didn’t get to wear it much. I would definitely buy again and I hope to when I can afford another one, they’re worth spending a little more for the quality and comfort.

Runs small! You may pick 1 size up to what Amazon recommends you, and you will be great in it!
Great swimsuit so far! BEWARE: run small. Tight, great for laps, confusing among lifeguards :) If you would like your body to be covered 'down there', it is not for you: get something like shorts-like. It looks professional. Dries fast and is very comfortable. It is not for you if you like something that goes on your body fast: get a zipper one, but it would not be for a 3-hour swimming workout in the pool. This swimsuit is affordable and must be tight on you, which was exactly what I was looking for.

Its great but it lasted a very short period of time
Pretty good and decent i ordered it in mid july it is now 2 months later and now i have to buy a new one cuz it started peeling and the elastic pieces threaded into the suit are starting to show. But other than the short lasting suit its pretty great only for short term use tho. I wouldnt recommend for a competitive swimmer or someone who swims daily or weekly.

Excellent brand/quality but size runs very small.
4 stars only because the item is not true to size. I had to order 2 sizes up from my normal size 8. Bought a 12 and it’s still snug but not strangling(!) and that’s good for lap swimming. Speedo and TYR are my go to brands for good quality swim training suits. They last at least 2 years or more of chlorine pool swimming if you take care of it. This red color was on sale for less than half retail price!! I bought 2. I am 5’6”, 140-150lbs, 36C top. 36” hip. 30” waist. The 38/12 fits me good. Also good butt coverage. I hate the ones that are too high cut in the back almost like a thong! This suit is not at all like a thong or stodgy with unflattering low cut legs. It’s perfect cut! Flattering and practical/sensible.
