NECA Predator Blade Fighter Vehicle

I loved NECA's remake of the classic Kenner Blade Fighter! It has all the features of the original plus some tweaks; such as the ability to store your masks and shoulder cannons, removable weapons for your 8" predator figures, a wall mounting hole for display and of course the painstaking detail upgrade. This vehicle was made specifically to complement the Viper Predator, but in reality, it can accommodate any 8" predator as long as they have 2 of the C-shaped, "grabbing" hands. Most have at least one to hold a weapon; If they are missing one, just temporarily pop one off from another figure, preferably one with a similar color scheme.The only con is that it feels like thin, brittle, hollow plastic--especially the capture jaws; while it looks great, it will not hold up to abuse by young children--IT IS FOR DISPLAY ONLY. If you keep this in mind, you won't be disappointed.The only thing more I could ask for to make this the complete package (other than being made of forged 7075-T6 aluminum and having electronic lights and sound), is attachment points for trophies. It would have been cool to display some of the skulls from the previously released Predator 2 diorama along the edges of the hull for prey demoralization, bragging rights and plain coolness!Overall, 5 of 5 stars. If you're comparing this item to the original, this update is superior in every way.Bottom line--if you're a fan of the Predator universe, anything sci-fi or just cool stuff in general, PICK THIS UP. @ around $60 from sellers here on Amazon, it's a steal!Now I hope NECA releases remakes of the Kenner Aliens Marine vehicle line!

Perfect, my son loves it. Great detail on paint and toy feels great. Its huge so be ready. I like that it actually has a small hole underneath for hanging

Awesome display piece. Cons first then pros.My only complaint is that some of the plastic is brittle-feeling like on the jaw blades and the predator's hand controls. So be careful when you are gearing your preds for posing with this vehicle, be patient. Oh, and you may have to work the jaw blades a LOT before they will open easily. I was afraid I was going to break it!! But I didn't.Just like the Kenner toy, it has a launching missile and the capture jaws can eject out, as well as clamp down on xenomorphs - or marines - or terminators. The vehicle has comfortable seating for one, and the predator mask holder area is a nice touch.The added bonuses? It has removable plasma guns, easily helf by Neca figures of many types. So yeah, pretty cool.

Hold on to yourself with this one. Those blades close quick. This thing is pure fun and the size blows you away. It comes with detachable predy guns that make your knees tingle. I'd buy another. There is one thing holding this bad boy from 5 stars. It's the fact that not all predators are created equal, a couple of mine don't really fit on this bad boy.

It's gorgeous the detail and paint are superb and the sculpt is amazing. And it has all the functions the Kenner one did with a few changes that really don't hurt it any. It's in scale wth the predators and can even hang on the wall if you don't have the shelf space. I highly recommend it if you want a vehicle for your predators or if you like the Kenner style stuff in a more updated version.
