UPCAL D Powder Packets 4 Boxes of 120 (1 CASE)

I got UPCAL D after my calcium levels dropped in the last year and a nurse who follows up on post-bariatric labs recommended the product as being more readily absorbed by those with compromised digestive systems.UPCAL D has helped bring my plummeting calcium levels back under control. I followed the advice of another reviewer and just dump the powder into my mouth (it tastes like a much less sweet pixie stick) and then wash it down with water, since it doesn't mix all that well with water and I found it tedious to have to constantly stir and for residue to end up stuck along the side of the glass anyway. Ordering in the 4-boxes is the most economical way to order since it combines the S&H. I just wish the vendor would become an Amazon-direct vendor so I could get free S&H, but ah well, beggars can't be choosers! Good product, would recommend.

I am a nurse and I know that this product is a good way to absorb calcium, but be careful buying a large amount of packets, as the box I received was outdated before I could use them all. No way to see expiration date on packets when buying unseen online. Wish they would reveal the expiration date on the box/packets before you buy. I will be more careful next time when I receive them and will return if I determine that it will expire before I can use them all.

I have to take several doses of calcium citrate daily. This is a easy, portable option for my busy day. This doesn't completely mix with liquids, but I've found that just tipping the powder in my mouth from the package is much quicker to get my dose in. It has a sweet taste with only 9 calories. This is my favorite brand of calcium supplement.

I always buy this Calcium in the travel packets by the case and I was so disappointed this time when I received my order and found the packaging had been changed. They are now in little foil packets that are much more difficult to tear open than the old paper-style, and so much of the powder clings to the inner foil that I wonder if I'm even getting a full dose. Disappointing.

I began taking this supplement post bariatric surgery. It is a convenient, tasty way to get your calcium/vitamin D requirements. You can open packet and mix right into liquids or pudding or I prefer to just open the packet and sprinkle it on my tongue...tastes like a non-tart pixie stick (remember them from when we were kids?). This supplement is a pleasant way to get calcium without swallowing large pills.

Easiest, fastest way to get the extra Vit D you need. This allows me to take a standard (inexpensive) multi-vitamin and add in the Vit-D/Calcium in one very mixable drink. I usually mix it in with my morning protein shake... it completely dissolves and is tasteless. Highly recommend.

I had gastric bypass surgery and have to have the extra calcium for the rest of my life. I tried crushing pills and they were awful, but UpCal is great. It has no taste is so easy to take with you anywhere you go.

I have to take a lot of calcium and this is the best way I have found. I just dump little packet in my mouth and take a swallow of my water. Dissolves immediately and no bad taste.
