I needed a heat gun to do a ton of solder seal wiring connectors. I liked this one because it sits on the bench and has the added benefit of a metal fold down support to keep it from falling over. For what I'm using it for it works great. The metal attachment to do heat shrink or solder seal helps plenty. There is also one for paint removing but haven't tried it for that yet. All in all it seems to do what its supposed to do and seems decently made. And it's very stable sitting on the work bench. I'm happy with it.

This heat gun gets hot very quickly, even with setting the temp all the way up. I got it mainly to help removing very old wallpaper in my new apartment. I also used it once to test with the heat shrink wire sleeve, and it worked well.

The temperature is not accurate. The temperature difference is more than some hundred.

I needed this tool for my business, since I’m a contractor. The quality is pretty good. Beat levels are pretty high too. Most of the time I’m using it for edge bending. You can also melt cables together (insulation of cable connections). When you are a handy man, this tool is definitely a must have.

Great product, works well. But received in unsealed fliptop box with extensive product decals, and with no direction or even packing list. Still not sure if I received all proper attachments.

Has same or better features, including cool down, tool rest, 10° temp set increments. Top names weren't 1800 W, only 12-1500W so 20% or more power. Great price by comparison. Can't speak to durability yet, too new.
