I was concerned about this purchase due to some of the less stellar reviews, but I could not be more pleased! I've bought a few manicure sets in the past and more often than not they wind up feeling and looking quite cheap, but this one is the opposite. I'm extremely happy with the quality and aesthetic appeal of this set. The case is feminine and beautiful, and all of the tools not only look great, but also feel well made, strong, and they each work perfectly.I just received the kit today and immediately tested out each tool by giving myself a mini manicure. The clippers are sturdy and sharp, the scissors cut very well (not dull like some I've bought in the past), the tweezers are nicely sized (basically full size as opposed to mini) and they line up and clasp tightly and precisely, the cuticle pusher is well made, and my favorite part -- the glass nail file -- is the perfect compact size I was looking for, plus it's very thick and strong, not to mention that it files extremely smoothly. I was worried it might have that yucky "drag" that gives me a sensation similar to nails on a chalkboard, but it's not that way at all. Just smooth, effective, and no annoying drag. It leaves your nails with a finely polished edge.This kit is the perfect size for travel or keeping in your purse, bedside table, or glovebox. As for the color, it's hard to capture in the lighting of my included photos, but it's more Rose Gold than pure gold. However, the tools are a little more distinctly Rose Gold than the case itself.Lastly, I would 100% feel good about buying more of these as little gifts. It looks much nicer and more glitzy than your average manicure kit, plus it comes in a very attractive and giftable box (see pics). Sometimes items like this arrive in a box with a ton of grammatical errors and typos that make it look cheap and obviously from another country, but this one is very professional looking, no errors, and it also has a visual guide on the back to explain what each tool is for (not that it isn't self-explanatory to most people, but a nice touch nonetheless). The box states the kit was designed in Brighton, England and manufactured in China.Oh also one final note -- Unlike another reviewer, nothing in mine looked used or damaged, including the box. I'm guessing perhaps their's was just a returned item that slipped past quality control. Point is, based on my experience I wouldn't let the negative reviews deter you. I think this kit is fantastic! I'm going to be ordering more as gifts to tuck away for other ladies. Well worth the price and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Definitely worth the price and was exactly what I expected

First impressions: The gold case is gorgeous. It feels classy and sophisticated. It snaps closed slightly imperfectly, but prior to getting this set, I’d just haphazardly throw my nail scissors in my makeup bag and hope it didn’t poke through anything. Serious upgrade!All the nail tools have the pretty gold aesthetic too. It makes me really happy looking at and using these tools.I was also really excited because it’s my first nail clippers ever...and they make life so much easier!One thing to note is that opening and closing the nail scissors created little scratches on the metal, as if the sides are screwed too tightly together, the scraping causing the golden coating to slough off. Pretty minor.It’s all really worth it for the price!

I love this cute little set. I needed a new manicure set and this one was perfect. It's perfect for doing some touch ups and it's so small you can easily pack it in an overnight back or for a longer trip. It's one of those items everyone needs and I love that it just looks professional and chic. I'll probably get some more to give to friends or pop into a stocking for Christmas!

I gave this to a friend in a gift basket. It was received with oohs and aahs because it's so darn cute. The tools inside are shiny and feminine and while I have not used them, they appeared to be of nice quality. I think this is a good buy and worth the price. It's a nice compact size for travel–plus, it's stylish.

If you have ever seen the Gold Tweezerman Manicure set ? This is not it. This is plastic coated, yes, that pathetic. Looks good from a distance, only. The clippers didn't meet the sides properly so they would tear. The push thing was ok to push your cuticle back, but then again not many really use one. It was ok. The file was a little weird, had more of an acrylic coating on it ? The Scissors were very poor and there was another tool, that could clean under your nail, but I'm not sure if that is what it was for. The case itself was not well built, but pretty and if well built, it would have been worth the price. It wasn't. I did manage to get my manicure set, the one I had before to fit, but the rest of it I decided to give away to my neighbor. The old saying. You get what you pay for. Get a different one, looks from a distance are misleading. No doubt this one was from China.

This product is great for traveling, for quick fixes or even taking it to your local nail salon if you’re not comfortable with using there supplies. It can easily fit in your purse, makeup bag. It’s even small enough to fit in your pocket! The design was nice I love the rose gold color! It’s very stylish you wouldn’t think that it’s a manicure set it looks more like a wallet or compact mirror!

I bought this for my work desk for nail emergencies. This was an absolute waste of money; I would expect this quality from the dollar store. Luxury? The only thing luxurious about this is the color of the tools that come in the cheap case with a latch that barely works.For the Tools:The nail clipper is dull and doesn't cut but breaks the nail off, sorta.The scissors works okay as far as I can tell.The cuticle stick, worthless. I might as well use a credit card from my wallet- it'd work better- It's not sharp, has a very blunt and rounded edge and doesn't clear any cuticle off your nail bed.The file is nice, but it's so small that it's difficult to use.The tweezers is fine and quite frankly works better than the cuticle stick to take care of those stubborn cuticles.OverallI won't order again, and will probably upgrade in next few months after I have to try use this again and I realize how terrible it works. So disappointed because it looks so nice in the pictures!
