Q: Got a small, it rides up my crack, if i get a medium will it be too big? i am about a 30-31 waist. do i just have to break them in?

I sit at a 32-33 waist and I ordered myself the medium. The medium fits well on my waist, butt, and legs nicely. When sitting down they ride up a bit on my thighs but I've never had an issue with the shorts riding up my crack. I hope this helps out.

It can be cut out. Unsure if it would be uncomfortable for women... I can’t imagine it would be.

It should be fine honestly. I’m 5’6 170 lbs and fill up my pants/shorts lol so I got the XL and they’re pretty decent fit!
