Group Debutant Eau De Toilette Spray for Men, 3.4 Ounce

It took some time getting use to this fragrance because this stays smelling like allspice in bubbling curry chicken on my skin, in a good way, but has a very pungent warm and sweet accord reminding me of mom's cooking. I believe that it's the vegetal, sweet/spicy, patchouli and earthy, bitter coffee notes working together on my skin to give it depth. On clothes and apparel this unleashes its faint peppermint and fresh bergamot accords. I found out I was addicted to this fragrance when I kept spraying it on myself to understand the notes and it is quite linear and unchanging on my skin but very strong and tasty. Overall, a true gourmand that on my skin beats the gourmands of Mugler in terms of the taste of the scent, and I have Pure Malt and Liquer de Parfum 2009.- Cap: not a twist cap on or a snap on, may need to have a strong grip and wiggle the cap off.- Scent - very tasteful gourmand, almost real food scent.- Presentation - bottle: frosted glass with a very sturdy atomizer, good distribution - box: I like the fact that it shows the notes or else I'd go completely nuts on what its doing! :-)Thanks for a fast and flawless service Amazon. Luv the smell..

Another review here talks about how this fragrance is similar to "Pure Malt" by Mugler. This isn't the case, as "Debutant" has none of the fruity/berry notes that are very noticeable in "Pure Malt". However, this fragrance does smell very similar to "A Men" by Mugler. Caramel and patchouli are the prevalent notes, which lines it up with "A Men".If you want "A Men" on the cheap, this does a great job in the scent/longevity/projection categories.Just don't buy this expecting "Pure Malt" because that is not what you're going to get.

below what i expected, too expensive for the price. the fragrance doesnt last atall.I wont recommend it atall, but wont go through the hassles of asking for a return

This has turned into one of my favorites even though it is quite inexpensive. I love the fragrance, and the longevity is longer than most of the others in my collection. It smells a lot like GeoBlack to me without the licorice top note. The dry downs are very comparible.

I like it,. the GF loves it,. Has similarities to the Mugler stuff but is more one dimensional and suffers from becoming cloying with over application. Has plenty of strength and longevity even when used sparingly.

This smells damn similar to Thierry Mugler Pure Malt. But a $10 version of Pure Malt. It doesn't last that long, but again, it lasts about how long a $10 bottle of cologne should last. For the price I'd say u can't go wrong, and it works well for layering.

It is very nice smell. Not too strong not too sweet.It’s a little more sweet than strong.
