Works as it should, great price\condition
I finally can have 2 4k monitors on my Zbook! I have a G2 with the i7 and Quadro K1100. Through this dock I have 2 HP Z27s monitors (4k) that run a full 60hz without and nVidia driver overrides... totally just plug and play. Granted, did need some better cables but, bought two "Fusion4k DisplayPort Cable 1.3 - Professional Series Ultra HD (10 Feet)" on amazon and no further issues. No flickering, no incorrect refresh rate, it was all perfect as HP intended it. Plus, love having USB 3.0 ports instead of the USB 2.0 ports on my old Advanced Docking Station... in addition to the Displayport 1.2 capability. Great Price too. Cannot complain.

Does not release the laptop consistantly
Specifically bought this because HP website says it is the best one for my computer. Elitebook 8560.I have not plugged it in yet but already know that I do not like it. It does not consistently release the computer from the docking station. Directions say to press the release button and if it doesn't work press it again. I have docked and undocked the computer about 20 to 30 times this afternoon. Sometimes it releases on the first push of the button ( a hard firm quick forceful push) Most times it does not release on the first, second, third push. It releases one side or the other but not both at once and requires reseating the computer onto the docking station and then try to release. My thumb is sore from all the pushing. It may work great while docked but my purpose in getting this was to dock it sometimes and take it mobile sometimes. If I don't like how that works when it is brand new I can't imagine this will grow on me. Guess I'll have to return it.

NO POWER SUPPLY INCLUDED
Although the seller makes no claim either way that a power supply is included. There are comments in the question section indicating that one is included. Be aware that you will have to purchase it separately if you need it. As for the product it looks fine but I have no idea if it works yet.

Works OK but a couple gotchas
I purchased this docking station to use with my HP 8560w after reading through the specs and seeing that it was supposedly compatible. Little did I know that compatible and fully functional are two very different things. It's a docking station - no real explanation needed there. It's a big docking station, so plan accordingly. I should also add that the power supply that comes with this is comically large. On the plus side, it does have a sata bay on the side so you can install an optical drive or a second drive caddy, which I plan to do.Now for the gotchas. Even though my computer is listed as being compatible, and technically it is, I don't have some of the key functionality I was looking for and quite frankly is a big reason why I purchased this particular docking station. The two biggest things I've found (so far) are the USB 3 hubs only run at 2.0 spec on pre-2012 laptops. I wasn't aware of this and my laptop was made in 2011 so I'm hosed. I can still plug USB 3 devices directly into the ports on the laptop, but that kind of defeats why I want a docking station. The second main issue is that I can only run two monitors at a time, even though the specs say I should be able to run 5. This isn't a huge deal as I really only plan to run 2 monitors, but there are times that also running the built in screen might be handy. Also, be aware if you're running a slightly older machine like me, that you will most likely need to update all your drivers and BIOS to get everything to play nice and to be able to even use two monitors at once.I burned a day of work and an hour on chat with someone on the other side of the world screwing around with this thing when really it shouldn't have taken more than 30 minutes to plug all my crap in, snap the computer in, and get back to work.I'm giving it 3 stars as it wasn't until I had problems and googled them did I realize that there was apparently fine print (though HP doesn't really let it be known) regarding pre 2012 machines.Editing on March 3, 2014 to add a couple more gotchas. I again want to qualify these by stating this is with my 8560w, so this may not be the case with other machines. The first additional concern is that I'm unable to get two monitors to work with the same type of connection. In other words, if I hook up two monitors using two DVI cables only one monitor will work. If I hook two monitors up with two Display Port cables, only one monitor works. If I hook one up with a DVI cable and the second with a Display Port cable, it works fine. Also, although it doesn't state in anywhere in any online documentation that I have found, you have to hook these two different cable types up to the two different "banks" of outlets, if that makes sense. The second gothca is that the wired network connection needs to be reset just about every time I plug in the laptop. If I take the laptop home and connect to my home network via wire or wireless, then bring it back to work, it struggles to connect to the network and I have to reset the connection. If I just plug the network cable directly into the computer, I never have a problem. I'm not sure if this is related to the way my work network is set up or not, but my coworker doesn't have this issue with his laptop and docking station.

Makes Life Easier
Great. I slide my laptop into place and it's automatically hooked up to my 2 monitors and my keyboard. No plugging in.
