30 DAYS TO A MORE POWERFUL VOCABULARY

It is a very greatful product for improving vocabulary

First purchased book decades ago and found it helpful. This one was for my grandchildren who soon plan on entering college. A few words seemed rarely used (e.g. mulct, rusticate) and others more frequently encountered (e.g. exacerbate, eradicate) were not included. But then, there are so many words from which to choose, that a selection has to be made. All in all well presented with appropriate exercises and tests. Recommended to supplement the best solution to increasing one's vocabulary - extensive reading.

Good product for English vocab

It was used in our English class in 1958. Our grand-daughter had her own at West Chester in her college course. Now I've given our youngest grand-daughter her own copy. Every student should own a copy.

The pedagogy of this book is something that puts it far ahead of its rivals.Firstly it's approach of encountering philology at its most basic level is something that I admired the most.Honestly I was searching for this kind of book for ages.I also liked its approach of question- answer based learning and testing aptitude.Though it has got certain parts that are suited to mature minds,Yet it is a must go for every autodidact that aims at achieving magnificent skills in vocabulary.
