The actual product seemed alot bigger than I had expected which was a pleasant surprise. The colour scheme on it is bearable but of course being an electric fly swatter I'm more concerned with how it functions for the job it's meant for. In terms of the job it's marketed for it works really well. The zap of electricity when it does catch a fly did make me jump a little. But that is not the fault of the product. I have only ever used an electric fly swatter from other brands a few times and the gap in time between doing so then using this one is rather big. So that is just something I need to get used to again. But yes overall I am very impressed. It arrived when I was informed that it would. It arrived intact no damage whatsoever. It does what it's supposed to do which is perfect for me. Due to the warm weather of course alot more flies are about than normal. So I needed something to help me make sure that my house doesn't have too many. Do I think this product has met my needs?. Yes I do 100%. It ticks all the boxes. I am so glad i spent that little bit more to get a rechargeable one. So I don't have to worry about it going through batteries faster than a blink of an eye. So if you are asking yourself is this a good investment for me?. Then I say go for it don't hesitate. If you have flies to get rid of then this gets the job done.

Used it, worked very well for short time, started flashing now dead!!

Product works well and zaps the bugs, but the charging point in the base of the handle is slightly misaligned so it's a job to get the cable in

Appears to work with a satisfying ‘crack’ as it nukes flies, (though only works properly when in low light, or as the only source of light to attract pests). However I have only given three stars for two reasons:- 1. No brush supplied as appears in the accompanying photos, which give the false impression this would be the case. 2. Having the power cable connected to the top of the device seems to me to be both counter intuitive and not particularly safe for a lightweight high-voltage device, giving it a higher centre of gravity and therefore making it prone to toppling over. It also makes no sense should one wish to hang it from a high point, where the power source would most likely be beneath that point. It also looks ungainly and aesthetically unappealing. Back to the drawing board I think!

There’s nothing more satisfying than swatting that fly or wasp that’s been taunting you for over an hour while trying to work and hearing it fry on the bat. Be aware the zap once you hit the pest is pretty loud so be prepared for it so as not to break the device. Nice and handy and covers a lot more area than a roller up newspaper giving you a better chance of catching the bug flying around and landing on you, your kids or pets. I love the fact it’s rechargable and being more sturdy than the cheaper kind. You soon make back your money being able to use it over and over again. I’ve not had to re-charge it since I purchased it months ago so all in all a happy customer

I bought this to help at night as due to hot weather and having doors and windows open we qere getting a lots of insects indoors. It has caught loads and only makes louder noise when they are a bit bigger like a moth. The power wire needs to be longer if you want to hang it up but we have it on a cupboard so manage ok. Bit awkward to clean does have a bit you unscrew but most insects are stuck on the wires so we got a brush to remove them. Definitely would recommend as it works a treat.

I am sorry to say that this product does not work for house flies. I left this in a room where we have a cluster fly problem every autumn. I followed the instructions to the letter and it caught a total of 6 flies over two nights and most of them were still alive in the tray and flew away when I opened it.It was worth a shot, but didn’t work for me.

It's handy to be USB-charged, and fun to use but this device only seems to stun flies, not kill them. Sometimes they keep flying even after being zapped; more often they fall to the floor and then you have to track them down and zap them again. Sometimes they are still wriggling their little legs after 5 or 6 zaps. It's satisfying, especially if you are sadistically inclined. But I would treat it as entertainment rather than a solution to an infestation. It's hard work chasing those little critters around the room, and you usually have to catch them when they settle. I ended up buying a fly spray for a serious outbreak (I didn't really want insecticides indoors, especially near the kitchen), then ordering some flypapers online.
