Use the Tripod
I had a few problems. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. It has 3 cameras, there is nothing in the instructions which guides you to which camera to use. Once I figured it out, it is very difficult to get the telescope placed well over the lens. Then the picture is in a black circle. They say to just pinch out the picture to enlarge the view. But if you don't use the tripod, you will not be able to get a picture. Remember that a 1/16 inch move of the telescope translates to feet of motion to the view. Mostly, it is okay, but I am very glad I didn't spend a lot of money on it. If I had, I would be sorely disappointed.

iPhone8 Plus incompatible
I have an iPhone 8 Plus and I could not lineup this monocular with the camera eye because the iPhone 8 Plus has two camera lens. They are not a single camera eye phone, so they should not be included in the description. There, also, is no manual telling you how you could line up a two camera lens with the Monocular.

Scope separated from tripod when using phone adapter
Lenses are good. Works well when I hold it. When I hooked it to tripod, however, the threaded bushing in the bottom of the scope pulled out from the scope when I attempted to hook up the phone assembly. I followed the directions carefully. I like the device, but it doesn't appear to be sturdy enough to use the tripod and phone adapter effectively.

Phone lens too far from telescope lens
The telescope and Bluetooth shutter work. Everything is included. The reason for the poor rating is that when I attach my phone (iPhone 11 Pro) to the telescope using the included piece, the lens of the camera is too far from the lens of the telescope, so there is black around the edges of the picture with a circle of the image in the middle. You can zoom to remove this mostly, but it takes about 2.5x zoom which is beyond the optical zoom on the iPhone. Considering I bought this solely for zooming my phone camera it’s a big disappointment. I was hoping to use it for nature photography when backcountry camping, but with the issues lining up the lens and size of the telescope it doesn’t make any sense to carry it.

Good monocular, useless phone adapter
High quality device that works great, but the phone holder is too narrow to hold my phone, which is disappointing.

Better than expected
Rarely write reviews but very impressed by this product. First thing I noticed is how expensive it feels, really good durable material, nice packaging, and all the ad-ons work. Took me a minute to figure out phone attachment, but now I love using it. I am writing this from Costa Rica, where it has absolutely changed how my pictures are turning out. For anyone into wildlife, birding, or the outdoors, it transforms blurry tree pics into super sharp images of sloths and birds. Great deal for $30!
