LOVE the Owlet. I have a son that was born with a genetic condition that put him at greater risk of SIDs. So, for the first 4 months of his life I got NO sleep and my anxiety grew. I finally decided to try the OWLET and I wish I would have bought it immediately after I had him. It’s worth every penny just for the peace of mind!I’ve had it for a year now, and he has worn it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. I clean the product according to the guidance provided by the company. It takes me a few minutes each week to do so. And I have had NO false alarms with the owlet sock.CONNECTIVITY- my son’s room is very close to mine, so connectivity has never been a problem for me. I do notice if I walk him to the other side of the house with his sock on, it will loose connection. But, it’s a non issue for me because of how close our rooms are.ALARMS- The only time it has ever gone off is if he pulls his sock off in the middle of the night, which is rare since he usually has footed PJs on.PEACE OF MIND- Having this on him has given me a peace of mind I was in desperate need of. I hesitated buying it because I had read somewhere that a child was burned by the monitoring device on the sock. But, I clean his sock often and I rotate feet nightly.
