Best Line Yet!
This is my second time purchasing this 6lb test line, in Chartreuse color. The first time I bought it, I ordered a 150M spool to compliment my Daiwa Exceler LT 1000 spinning reel, paired with either a 6'6 ML BnM Crappie rod, or my most recent 6' L Falcon BuCoo SR rod, which is the best match yet! I've fished this combo almost exclusively with this Daiwa J-Braid x8 6lb line these past 7 months, and I have to say, it is the most impressive line I've used in my lifetime so far. I've fished for panfish, largemouth bass, and even channel catfish with this setup, and it has been a joy to use. This line is VERY thin, equivalent to 1.5lb monofilament diameter, highly sensitive, and beyond capable for its weight class. It is pretty resistant to abrasion as well, and holds its color for a while. I normally fish mildy stained to stained water, and I either tie straight to the hook/lure, or use a size #00 VMC snap, and have not had an issue with it spooking fish, nor breaking off. My drag has sung a tune to several nice 2-3lb largemouth bass, without a sign of breakage. The line maintains a round profile, and travels smoothly through my rod guides, especially the Fuji guides on my light action Falcon rod. I've landed fish after fish on the same spool of line, and only purchased this bulk 3000M spool just to have this amazing line on hand for future use, as the first spool is still going strong on my reel! I even plan on using it in saltwater for inshore species in the near future. It's that good! I recommend using a Palomar or Uni knot with it, to prevent slipping. I'm a big fan of PowerPro braid, but this Daiwa J-Braid has found a permanent place in my fishing arsenal. I'm a fan for life!

Only line we use on our charter boat!
We have a lot of reels for our charter boat out of nj. Our line goes through a lot (customers let line rub the boat during fights etc) and gets used a lot in a year. J braid is the only line we've found to consistently hold up to the abuse and not fail. We use the multi color for tuna jigging rods so you can count down how far your jig is to fish a depth. Each color is 10 meters.

Really bad quality - weak
Bought this back in April to ready for the fishing season. Now that I am fishing regularly the line always breaks when I catch a stripper. Made me lose a bunch of fishes, bait and time.

Good stuff right here
I have been a J-braid fan for a while now. it's strong but sensitive ( a lot like me, lol). I fish jetties and a lot of areas where you need to get into rocks cause that's where the fish are, and J-braid holds up really well in this situations as in most general fishing applications
