Amazing! Just buy them. Fit the Meze 99 Classics quite well and substantially improve the comfort.
I recently purchased the Meze 99 Classics headphones and was in fact thinking of selling them due to the discomfort while wearing. The stock earpads are just awful. They would press against my ears to the point where I couldn't wear the headphones for more than 15 minutes at a time.I did loosen the clamp force of the headphones by stretching out the spring steel headband which somewhat improved comfort, but the stock earpads would still give me that 'pinching' sensation around my ears after some time. However, these Brainwavz earpads (in addition to me stretching out the spring steel headband) has led to substantially improved comfort where now using the 99 Classics is actually enjoyable and I look forward to using them. So I'll now be keeping these headphones. The Brainwavz pads are also deeper, so if your ears touch the inside of the cups with the stock earpads, chances are they won't with these aftermarket ones.In addition to being deeper, these Brainwavz earpads are also thicker and have much more foam (and arguably better quality foam) inside them, which better disperses the weight and clamp force of the headphones around your ears and in turn leads to far greater comfort. The stock earpads also feel 'cheap', whereas the Brainwavz ones feel a lot more luxurious and premium.Aesthetically, the Brainwavz earpads, being larger, make the Meze 99 headphones look more 'substantial', imposing and 'heavy-duty', whereas the headphones look rather puny with the stock earpads.Although the Brainwavz earpads are not technically made for the Meze 99 series of headphones and are instead designed for the Audio Technica ATH-M50X, they fit the Mezes quite well (although installing them can be a bit tricky initially). The pads are available in several finishes - microsuede, velour, hybrid, perforated, pleather, etc. I purchased the Microsuede ones.I can wholeheartedly recommend these earpads.Shame on Meze for including such atrocious earpads with their headphones. I understand that they have to hit a certain price-point for their more affordable headphones, but still, the quality on the stock earpads is so poor that you would expect them with $50-$100 headphones, not $300 Mezes.I am not affiliated with Brainwavz in any way. This is just a PSA for current owners of the Meze 99 Classics/Neo headphones, so that they can enjoy these headphones with far greater comfort.

Replaceable earpad
A great product with a good quality material used in it but it easily get the dusty. It really comfortable in your ears and it doesn't quickly warm your ears as a perfect fit for every ears size as it is big it is easy to install in your headphones.

Most Comfortable Ear Pads!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had my ATH-M40x for over 5 years. Last year, the original ear pads started shedding their faux leather. I first tried the budget-friendly Crysendo replacement pads, but they were stiff and uncomfortable—they started hurting my ears. The soundstage also felt very narrow, and I didn’t even feel like using the headphones anymore.I was considering buying a brand-new pair of headphones, but then I decided to give the Brainwavz ear pads a shot after doing some research online. This month, I finally invested in a premium set—and they were absolutely worth it. They’re incredibly comfortable, and the open soundstage is even better than the original and cheaper alternatives.Highly recommended if comfort and sound quality matter to you. Definitely worth the price. I now listen to music every day. I use the FiiO K3 DAC/AMP to power my ATH-M40x—and it works like magic.

Muffles the output but, boy are they comfortable.
I bought them as replacement ear pads for my Hyperx Cloud Alpha Pro. They original earpads were of leatherette material and had started to peal off. Also since they would provide great seal, they also heated my ears after sometime causing discomfort. Further, the cushion pads are not thick enough (Hyperx has fixed this but still) due to which headphones felt too clamped. So, to fix these issues I purchased these replacement earpads.Firstly, the velour material is super soft and after about 3 weeks of usage(~6hours/day) there is no sign of wear and tear. Secondly, the seal is not as good as the stock earpads so that lessens the noise cancelation a bit. But since there is air circulation, my ears don't feel hot and doesn't sweat after prolonged usage. Further, the cushions on these earpads are almost 1.5x thicker than the stock earpads and even on the inside the lining is thick so that ear don't make contact with the driver grill. These earpads fixed all the issues I had with the stock earpads on Hyperx Cloud Alpha Pro.The downsides to these earpads are major. Since the earpads have thicker sponge on the inside they muffle the output a lot. Not just the bass, but in my case I felt everything. The lows were significantly lower but the mids and highs were lowered as well. This was solved by increasing volume by about 40% and using external amp to fixed the missing bass. Still, sound quality seems to be about 10% worse than original. Overall, I would say it was worth. The comfort makes up for the loss in sound quality, besides if you are using amp it won't matter much.
