Wald Axle Mount Kickstand

Bought it for my sons little lightning mcqueen bike and it fit great. Super heavy duty construction. Feels like it would work on a Harley. Needless to say, my 7 year old loves it.

This was my second kickstand purchase for my daughter's bike. Her bike came with training wheels so needles to say it didn't come with a kickstand which is frustrating. I ordered another kickstand but it did not fit on her bike- the design of her bike didn't allow for a standard kickstand so I found this one and I love it. It is sturdy and attaches easily and the bike stands without issue- it is a rear mount but is sturdy enough to support the bike!! Great product !!!

Although this states it's for a 16" bike, we used it on our daughter's 14" bike and it works great.

My son's bike originally had training wheels, but once he started riding without them I wanted to find a kickstand so the bike wouldn't fall over when he got off of it. The suspension of the bike is such that there's no place to put a standard kickstand just behind the pedals, so this was the perfect answer. It's easy to attach, just make sure the nut is securely fastened so it doesn't come loose. Yes, the kickstand is stiff at first- a little WD40 helped, as has some use. I thought it might get in the way, because it sticks out from the sides of the bike, but so far it hasn't been a problem. And it is made for a bike with 16" wheels- it definitely would be short for a larger bike, so make sure the size you order corresponds to the size of the bike you have.

The axle mount wasn't ideal for the size bike tire we had to work with, 26", but we monkeyed around and found a way to attach to the frame, and it does work very well. I did try to return it upon realizing the sizing wasn't quite right, but it would have cost more to return than keep, so I decided that meant it was cheap enough to mess with until we figured out a way.

Doesn't come with axle nut even though it's required for assembly and says it's included with the kickstand. I received two of these and neither had an axle nut.

Extremely well made and very sturdy. It was unfortunately unusable for my bike because of the disc brakes, also it says sixteen inches and its only nine. The size refers to the bike and not the kickstand

Easy to install and very sturdy. The spring hinge makes it easy to move with my foot. My folding bike (16" wheels) didn't have a kickstand or an area on the frame to install a standard-type kickstand. This axle mount one comes in handy,
