I almost didn't want to use or take a min to review this item, even though I'm trying to review all items that I purchase & I end up keeping. The reason I hesitated is because I figured all poop baggies are the same. I have two large dogs, one 66 & the other, 72 pounds. My puppy was trained never to potty on a walk, but my older lab takes delight in dumping on walks & I have come to discover that not all poop bags are created equal. I used to carry large Walmart plastic bags but I don't always have pockets in summer. I took the advice of my neighbor and ordered a holder and bags. I gave her a handful since I didn't think I could ever use so many rolls. She said these bags are much easier to open!Whoa! Game changer right there! I didn't think much about what could make one little poo bag so different from another, but she started telling me horror stories about some filled with special packages that would come apart at her feet. Good thing she only has an 18lb dog! Imagine the turds of a 72lb dog dropping where you're about to put your feet?!? Holy 💩💩💩!These bags & their holder have served me well, & although I felt good about not having any complaints, my neighbor scolded me & said to keep a good thing when I find it & post a review.So: they aren't fancy smelling or super colors of the rainbow, but they have earned stamps of approval from a few of of my friends and neighbors, & that's enough for me to stick with these & repurchase if they ever run out.

I may suck at understanding fluid ounces and physical dimensions (as thoroughly documented in my other reviews), but I’ve apparently mastered the art of forecasting my dog’s poop output. Subscribed for one unit every 6 months, and 6 months later I’ve got exactly 3 bags left. Precision, baby.These Amazon Basics bags? Rock solid. The seams hold like NASA engineered them. Zero blowouts. No risk of surprise hand warmers. Not a single bag has betrayed me so far. After suffering a traumatic breach with Gorilla bags, these feel like luxury.Now let’s address the only real downside: they’re thin. Not "fall apart" thin, but "you will smell what your dog’s been cooking" thin. The warmth? Immediate. The aroma? This bags seem average if not slightly above average. I typically purchase poop bags at the dollar store since let's be honest, they're just going to end up in the trash. Since the dollar store is no longer a dollar, and the count per package went down as well, I decided to shop around and compare the per bag price. It's not a huge difference in price (half a penny per bag) but that adds up when you're using multiple bags each day. So I went with Amazon Basic. I haven't used them yet so I may update this review once I do, but they appear to be thicker and stronger just on first looks.One thing that really made me laugh as I was opening the box and placing the rolls in my storage tin. There was an instruction manual. Seriously, do people need directions to put bags in the included holder and use them? It's even multi-paged with different languages. I just couldn't stop laughing when I found it.

Can't say enough about these bags. They are durable, hardly ever rip, easy to separate and each order comes with a carrying case. I will be a repeat buyer even after my last dog passes. These are so tough and versatile that I keep them all over (in strollers, a roll in my purse, in the car, in bug out bags and emergency kits, and diaper bags). And the value is its own gold star. 900 of these bags goes a long way. If you are only the fence - get them, they are worth it.
