Seriously?Literally each page starts with "When to play the chord" and has one sentence in the middle of the page "The number of each row of the table bellow , refer to the note numbers for the scale of the bass note. This chord can be created in any key by using the numbers in the table bellow."This is how a books should be written?The rest just vary based on the generated table of notes. Basically it show you no theory, nothing, It just throws on you bunch of numbers/letters and list of keys for each chord transposition.. (Interesting as an Excel exercise but not for music study).It is clear that this is a book generated soulless program. It might be handy as an app, but not as book.What I found interesting though is the tension and openness value of each chord. That is unique.. but the way how it is written, meaning just a number next to a chord, that is not written not even in scales and with zero explanation why it has such and such tension makes it useless for further study. (A book of clear explanation of chord tensions and openness that one can build upon will be grate to get.)As I mentioned earlier good for chord generating app, but not as a book.This book is a printed table of chords with "any" explanation of the musical context.One note on the end.. do not forget to check the book preview, the last pages shows what is the whole book about.If I know that the whole book will be like that I would not buy it.

I' ve been searching a book like this one a long time ago,it can really change your playing, and I consider it like a blessing for me and every single musician who want to improve their playing. I wish I could buy more books from Gregory Moody because I really like the way he taught in that book, like he said even a beginner in music can apply these theories I think you understand what he means, his teaching is very simple, clear, and precis! I love it....

Good chords but concept a little bit difficult to understand. I may need more books to go with this one.

This book has been so helpful in my music ministry! There's just so much information in this book that can really help anyone who is trying to grow in playing the keyboard.

I was hoping for a book on gospel style. This is a catalog of chords based on what melody note is on top of the chord. I wish I had not purchased.

This book really shows you how to know these chords. There is a lot of examples: and in different situations to use them. Well worth the money.
