EDIT: I was sent a replacement after my review below. Since then, and with my two bottles of rosehip oil, I have a new review. Now first, you can see the two different shipments right next to each other. The newest on the top, the original on the bottom. (just a quick FYI, I got both within less than a month of each other) The first one I was sent is thick, scentless, and does not affect my skin the way that other rosehip oils have in the past. (moisture, acne and PIE/PIH healing, tone improvement, etc.) The second one I was sent is slightly lighter, has a strong "essential oil" scent, and affects my skin *closer* to the way other rosehip oils have. You can see in the photo where they are smoothed in, that one (the original) has a shine whereas the other (the new one) is slightly flatter, with little to no shine. This is how rosehip oil typically blends into the skin. That's why it is often recommended for oily skin types. It's a naturally satin finish. The original one was not.Now, regardless of wether or not I got actual rosehip oil the second time around, I still believe that the makers of this oil are adding a small amount of dye and, when customers complain, adding actual rosehip oil and/or essential oils. Rosehip oil does not smell like roses. It smells like tea, or a dead flower that isn't a rose. It doesn't smell like what I got.For reference, I am a biochemistry student with a skincare/cosmetics job waiting for me next month, when I finish my degree. I don't have to take this to the labs literally a 5 minute walk from where I live in order to tell you that this is not unaltered rosehip oil. You may be some of the lucky few who have not been bribed or otherwise coerced into writing a good review and still got a good product, but you're still getting rosehip oil that has unlisted (possibly irritating) ingredients and no preservatives. If you still use this, store it in the fridge and buy something with preservatives and a dark bottle next time. (Usually a single preservative derived from vitamin E)First review:The color of Rosehip oil should be between a dark orange (like this product) and a light yellow. There is often, but not always, a faint earthy-yet floral smell. This product doesn't smell like it. I'm unsure if this product is what it is supposed to be. Rosehip oil has done great things for my skin previously, but this seems to do nothing more than improve my moisture. That is why i fear it has been cut with a cheaper oil. Despite it's price, I would suggest a different oil.

This product has seriously changed my life. I have really bad hyperpigmentation and I have tried everything, I mean everything. The pictures are 3 months apart! I continue to order this product and its also very inexpensive. One thing I strongly suggest is you have to be consistent with application, like everyday.

So far I love this oil! It has made me skin very moisturized and supple! I also use it on some of my scars and stretch marks and I can already see a difference! I have had this oil for about 2 weeks! I am Afro American (rich with melanin *wink*) with very sensitive skin and Seborrhea Dermatitis and it has not irritated my skin at all. I also notice that my skin overall is brighter..My partner complimented my complexion the other day, "Your skin looks so good right now..you look sun kissed" thats a win in my damn book! lolDECEMBER UPDATEI LOOVE this oil.. very very pleased .. it has definitely helped reduce the appearance of my scars and stretch marks ! My skin feels softer and it mixes well with a nice fragrance oil to make my own body oil.. very pleased ! If it helps.. I have combination skin/African American/Red undertones / i also experience depigmentation and this oil has not irritated my skin at all

I like that this product has a pump that way the oil is not exposed to air and stays fresh for longer. One full pump dispenses too much oil (in my opinion), so half a pump is recommended.The oil is a bit orange and if your skin tone is light/pale then it would be somewhat noticeable; my skin tone is medium-tan and it doesn't bother me.Sits well under oil/silicone-based makeup and I would recommend applying this about 10-15 minutes before makeup that way there's time for the oil to settle.I have been using this product day and night and my skin feels softer and has a natural glow to it. I've also noticed the flaky skin on the tops of my cheeks and corners of my mouth has softened.It's moisturizing without being too oily or greasy and I would highly recommend it.

As a woman with Rosacea and extremely dry skin, I have spent many years trying to find a routine that works. I've spend probably thousands of dollars on different products, dermatologist treatments, nothing has seemed to really work. This winter has been especially cold and especially damaging to my skin. Being a working Mom of two wonderful children i also don't prioritize time for a very extensive skincare routine. Finally i decided to go with a more minimalist approach. Most days i only rinse my face with water, no soap, and apply this wonderful stuff. It is a bit oily at first but once it soaks in i have luxurious, supple skin AND first the first winter EVER I have not been teased with the nickname Rudolf. If i could give 10 stars i would.

This stuff is MAGIC!! My face used to be porcelain smooth, and the older I got, I developed adult acne. Now my face is red with scars all over it. I'm embarrassed to even go out to the grocery stores. This stuff is so calming and relieves my irritated skin. Everyone talks about it turned their face yellow... well of course if you slather it on!! It only takes 3-5 drops to do a whole head of hair! You have to use this sparingly! Makes my face so soft and smooth. I've only had it for a week now and I can't believe how much red it's already taken out of my face and smoothed it out! I have tried everything under the sun to help me with my face. SO HAPPY I found this! And for the price, it's AMAZING!

The oil is thin, had no scent and seems to just sit on my face. I have oily skin and used less than a dime size on my entire face. I also have been getting small breakouts on my skin. I stopped using it for a few days and they went away. Tried it again and they came back. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if its the oil. I don't think I'll continue to use it though.
