Bold, slightly sweet, and deceptively drinkable, Leffe Radieuse is a strong dark Belgian abbey ale. Sweet fruits like plums and raisins, spice, and a roasted maltiness come courtesy of the ingredients: dark malts, corn, hops, yeast, and coriander. This quintessentially Belgian ale is smooth and luscious yet has a medium dry finish and a good balance giving it a rather long and warm finish. The family of Leffe beers was founded by the Abbaye de Leffe in Dinant, Belgium. To meet increasing demand and to expand their capability of charitable giving, the beers are now brewed at Brasserie InterBrew (which is owned by InBev Belgium) with the close cooperation of the Abbey fathers.
