Very cute

Purchased as a gift for my wife. She's used it several times with a real tealight candle as well as a battery operated one. The tealight of course was perfect, and threw interesting light patterns through the glass. Battery powered tealight was fine but needed lights off to appreciate.

Lights up nice

It is a little thick, not too sheer but you see some light and color. The butterfly is nice looking and my wife, who raises them, loves it.

This arrived in a hand made box with a lot of tape. Unrolling the bubble wrap felt like unwinding it's cocoon. And it came all folded up like an unhatched butterfly. It's legs are all slender wire, and ever finer wire for antenna. The glass wings are thick heavy glass and provide contrast to it's legs. Almost a floating appearance with those tiny legs. It needs a fairly bright flame because of the thick glass.It looks great on the dresser!

It is very pretty but when you set it down it falls forward. My husband and I kept trying to get it to balance upright or it can't be used since it is a tea light. We looked up the picture on amazon and saw that they legs need to be straightened for it to sit up and be used. There were no directions saying this and the wire is thin so we were afraid that by us bending it, they would break. After playing with it for a while, we got it to stand upright but might be good it they either told you that or sent it ready to be used.

The detail on this little guy is amazing! I purchased this little critter for my small guest bathroom to add a warm welcoming hello for my overnight guests. It's a very sturdy item and the glass is thick yet still sheer for the light to give the perfect amount of ambiance and soft glow that was needed in the space. He even came with his own wax tealight! I use a battery LED tealight for unattended overnight usage as a nightlight for safety. His bright and cheery colors bring many compliments and huge smiles! I did have to adjust the legs just a bit to have him sit level, Otherwise perfect right out of the box. I highly recommend.
