Must have for new moms
This product was a lifesaver for my family when we had a newborn. There is so much equipment and bottles to wash when preparing to feed a newborn, and sterilizing can be a long process. We were gifted a set of these from my sister in law and they changed our cleaning time down in half. We have bought many since and often gift them to new mothers. All you have to do is place parts in the bag add some water and set the microwave. When they stuff in the bag is done, drain the water and let it dry and you are good to use again. The bags last awhile and has a countdown on them so you know how many times you have used them before you need to change them. We will definitely be getting more of these soon with our second on the way.

Lazy People's Sterilizing! Yeah!
Gone are the days when you need to boil a whole pot of water to sterilize baby stuff. Instead, you open this resealable plastic bag and dump the parts inside. You fill it with 2 oz of water and microwave the bag for 3 minutes. Voila! The bag folds out at the bottom so it sits upright. The steam from the miniscule amount of water works to sterilize. The one downside to the bag is that there is a limited amount of space inside. For example, you can fit one entire set of pump parts (flanges, that 3 prong thing, the yellow thing that holds the membranes), two bottles, and some small stuff like nipples but that's about it. You'd need to microwave a second bag if you wanted to also sterilize storage and feeding bottles. The bags can be reused 20 times and there are 5 to a box. I'm still on my first bag so the box of 5 will last me a long time. It's also good for taking on the go - like to work or on vacation.

Handy little bags!
These bags got me through 8 months of pumping at work. Always careful not to grab it by the wrong end!! I was terrible at noting how many uses I had though. The pen wipes right off. The new bags instruct how to sterilize the tubing. Wish I had known about that! I ended up buying a new set of tubes for the medela pump about 2 months in. I used the bag to store the parts in between pumps too. I always added enough water to make the parts float (about 1/3 of the way up the bag). The little membranes tend to slip out when I empty tue water so always check the bag to make sure two are still there! I've lost a few. That is the only negative about this product I would say....

Great timesaver
These are awesome! I felt like I was continuously boiling stuff for my wife, which wastes a lot of water (in addition to the water being used to wash the stuff in the first place) and gas on the stove. These bags do the same thing with about a quarter cup of water and 3 minutes in the microwave. Each bag is reusable up to 20 times and they have a little place to mark on the bag after each use to keep track. Is this as good as other sanitizing methods? I really don't know. The items come out seemingly sanitized after using this. Of course I wash everything very good before sanitizing. Please don't tell me that they don't work as effectively as boiling the stuff as I would prefer to live in ignorant bliss...

Useful, time-saver
I've used these bags for going on five babies now. They're great for quickly serializing bottles, breast pump parts (not the tubing), etc. Unless you use a lot of bottles, which we don't, one package will last you a while.

Work as designed, good peace of mind that things are sterile. Worth the price of admission.
These bags do what they're designed to do. Initially, I thought their limited life span was a marketing ploy to just get you to buy more. But they really do get progressively more brittle as you use them so the 20 uses per bag is probably about right. We wash all our bottles pretty diligently as soon as we're done with them so their cleanliness has never really been a worry. Therefore we don't sterilize anything on a daily basis like the instructions suggest. Maybe once a week just to give us some peace of mind. But then again, we aren't germophobe parents.Just make sure you add the required amount of water to the bag before microwaving. Also, everything comes out really hot so be careful.
