I ordered the washers because I have a need to replace many garden water attachments after sitting out the winter. Some that I have were getting old and hard over time and not seating properly. I have a 3/4" garden hose reel and replaced the two washers in both ends of the hose, two on the feeder hose, and one for the sprinkler and hand sprayer. I've only just started. The ones I've used work perfectly. A nice snug fit. They seem to be well constructed and worth the cost. I only wish they had the four small locking tabs around the outer edges to keep them from falling out when there is nothing attached. In a test, I inserted a washer in the end of the hose and gave it a shake without the washer falling out. That tells me they are snug enough without the tabs. A good product.

Works as described. Needed it for a leaking hose as the original O ring was terrible. Installed this and no issue at all. Just have no idea where I put them all after I used what I needed.

These washer/gasket fit all my water hoses, valves and quick connects perfectly. The rubber was the quality I have used in the past with excellent results. I change about 15 gaskets every season and there were exactly 40, as advertised in the pack. I almost never write reviews unless I believe it will be helpful to others. I'm writing this one because of the problems I found in the description. who compiles this info anyway? The washers that best fit my hoses and accessories is 1" OD X 5/8" ID X 1/8" Thickness. I went through every description of hose washers on amazon and all but one listed that size, and the reviews on it often stated they fell out, implying to me they were to small and Not 1" OD. they were expensive also. So I bought these half expecting to return them. the ones I received were exactly the dimensions I was looking for. If it stated that at first it would of been a no brainer. I just would of bought them. Product is great. Description is just plain wrong. when I want to buy any item I would appreciate the correct size of the item. Do any of us care a bit about the size of the box it comes in? I recommend buying this, if you don't want it to fall out or leak. But remember, the best gasket can not correct bad mating surfaces, debris and corrosion!

Lately, washers for hose connections seem to be made of plastic and have been causing annoying leaks. I ordered these because they are more traditional and soft to make a good seal. They worked for me. I now have dry sneakers when I water the plants....
