Well Made & Won't Let Beads Migrate To Neighboring Compartment
The media could not be loaded. ► Why I like it:I really like these storage cases. Before I bought this one, I spent quite a bit of time searching Amazon for cases and reading all the reviews. It seems that so many of them either break easy or else they let the small items such as beads shift between compartments. I say, what's the point of having a case that does that. This case has a radius on the bottom of the dividers that perfectly matches the radius on the bottom sides of each compartment thereby forming a complete seal. It also has a channel molded into the lid for each and every divider slot so that the top of the dividers goes inside the channel thereby forming a complete seal on the top, too. If you plan to use it for crafting and have small beads, they will not jump over into the next compartment. I did not see that on other cases that I looked at. Good engineering.I bought the medium size. I found that it was a better price and a good working size for me. I am using mine for storing my presser feet for my sewing machine. The compartments are large enough that you can also put your presser feet instructions, notes and descriptions in the same compartment. Actually, you could put several presser feet in the same compartment if you had a large enough collection and wanted to do that.Another thing that his one has over others is that it has a true hinge. So many of the plastic cases and boxes that are available these days do not have true hinges. Instead, they have a plastic continuation that molds the top to the bottom forming a single piece. Eventually that plastic area will fatigue and break on you, leaving you with a useless case that opens up on the opposite end. Money down the drain. If you watch my video, you can see daylight at the hinge since it is a true hinge. Good engineering again. There is also a hanging tab on one end that folds over flat. Since it folds, it will eventually create a weak point and give way – much like what the one piece plastic molded (lid to bottom) pieces do that I explained above. Presumably, though, it will not begin to get nearly as much activity to bring it to its breaking point during normal use. I don't use the hook. It is not flush with the edge of the container so you are going to need something long and protruding to hook it on. Think display hooks in a store type of a hook (which is probably really what it was designed for). The last two photos show the hook both from the side and straight on.I have tried to show you the snap clasps, hinges, and the dividers and how they seat in the attached photos. Hopefully you can make sense of the pictures.► Dimensions:With hanging tab folded down: 11” x 6 13/16” (exclusive of hinge) x 2 3/8” including feetDepth with hinge 7 1/8”Compartments: 2 1/8” x 1 7/8” x 2 1/16” deep► Pros:True hinge, not just continuation of molding which tends to break. Dividers fully seat top and bottom to hold even the smallest of beads in their own compartment when shaken. Good value for money.► Cons:None.► Suggestions for Improvement:Offer these in different colors as colors help us organize better.► Would I buy again?Yes.► Purchasing Decision & Questions:I hope I have helped your purchasing decision of this 15 Compartment Medium Storage Case. Very nice cases, like the dividers.... latching mechanism could be better
I bought these (Akro-Mils 30210 Plastic Storage Stacking Hanging Akro Bin, 5-Inch by 4-Inch by 3-Inch, Black, Case of 24) to organize my Tool chest misc drawer. I could not find something that was deep enough yet not too big. In my bottom drawer (insde 22.5" w x 15.5 d) of my craftsman tool chest base, I put 3 rows of 5 (15 bins) on top of a rubber mat so they do not slide around. This drawer was 5.5" deep. I then put two of the (Akro-Mils 5905 Plastic Parts Storage Case for Hardware and Craft, Large, Clear) cases side by side on top of the 15 bins. It fits the drawer very well without being cramped and I can easily take one case out and slide the other left/right to get to the bins. this really cleaned up and organized all my screws, nuts, hangers, electrical connectors, et. al.I then used the other 9 bins in shorter drawer. The height of these bins are just right for these type of rolling tool chests, and you can pull out what you need and stack them on the workbench or whatever.I gave these storage cases only 4 stars though, because the latch mechanism isn't perfect... you sometimes have to use both hands to properly latch it. Not a big deal for me, however I can see how this would be less than ideal choice for someone with arthritis or just needs to be able to close and secure this one handed.

Love these cases for storing small objects/toys!
We've bought a few of these now, and I really do think they're fabulous. We originally bought one to organize and store my older daughter's Rainbow Loom bands, and as she started acquiring more bands, beads, and whatnot to go with it all, we decided we ought to get another. Plus, as we've been organizing the Legos in the house, I thought these would be useful to sort and store the littler Lego pieces. They've worked really well for both uses. They're sturdy, and the lid pops off without breaking the box if you want to temporarily remove it and set it aside. Which is also nice, given that it means it doesn't break when used by children a lot. The removable dividers are great for adjusting the size of the compartments (though the long ones that go from side to side don't come out - they're a fixed part of the box, if that makes a difference for you) have been great for creating spaces to organize and store things. We've made larger ones for beads, smaller ones for bands and connectors, and varying ones for Legos depending on how many we had of certain kinds of pieces. And the lid has grooves for where the dividers go in the bottom part of the case, helping seal each compartment off from each other when it's closed. (No, I don't think it's a watertight seal, so I doubt it'd work for liquids, but it works great on Rainbow Loom bands so clearly it works with relatively small objects.) And they stack nicely on top of each other, so everything gets tucked away nicely when people are done with things. And just having all these little things organized makes it easier for people wanting to use them, too.I really can't say enough good things about these, and they've been holding up well for several months now. I'd highly recommend these if you have a need to store and organize small objects in your house, whether for your kids or yourself.

Very good product although Amazon Shipping BAD
Really handy storage cases. I ordered 6 and 3 came cracked/split/broken. No fault of the manufacturer. This is PURELY amazon's fault. I ordered two more and they came to me OK. Still not packed great but the stuff around it helped protect them. So, if you really need these you should investigate getting them from local merchants (Walmart store, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, ...) versus chance a poor packing job by Amazon,
