There are some that claim a mountain of new improvements (even Ernie Ball) but at the end of the day, these are some of the best! Had a friend of mine speaking of a new version out there that lasts twice as long only to find out those cost over twice as much; Just buy two packs of these for less and call it day!!I've tried a lot of strings including most of the new options out there but these are an awesome value, work well, consistent, can find these all over the world, and used by many a well-known guitarist.also, 9's are a great option for tone even better than 10's in my opinion which I played for decades. These are just good strings. A classic choice.

Great strings and value

I bought these to use with the Rocksmith game. I noticed that Rocksmith is able to detect the first fret with these strings when the stock strings on two other guitars wouldn’t get the game to detect them. So that’s a very good thing. I also noticed the sound travels really well with these strings. I dont know how to explain it but they sound much better than the stock strings I’ve used. Only thing that sucks is I had a 1011 string break on me as I was installing it onto my guitar.
