Not for hot irons!
We bought this for my daughter. She is interested in cosmetology. It says you can use an iron on the hair in the description (one main reason we choose this model)... DO NOT DO THIS! We ended up needing to peel hair clumps off the iron (which was on the lowest setting) and my daughter has been taught how to use it properly on her own hair.Other than the melting issue, the hair is great for styling up-dos, and that is what she does with it, less the locks that were lost due to the great melting incident of 2020.

Great for the price
Sheds a little but not that much, the part the secures it to the table slides off a lot but that is probably because my table is plastic, but it doesn’t tangle that much and you can move the head around to braid at different angles great for game of thrones braids

Even though hair is not real it is very soft and pretty good quality to work with. Perfect for just practicing braiding

Great Price
Bought two of these for my granddaughters to do hair on. Such a great price and they are very true to life. The hair is obviously not real at this price, but I believe you can still curl it at a lower temperature.

Just ok
Bought this for my daughter to polish up on her baraid skills. It was a lot smaller than standard cosmetology heads, but it was ok for what we bought it for. If I were to buy another one I'd suggest getting one with real human hair. This has synthetic hair and it nothing like working with real hair, really slippery and not good with water use imo.

Not to Bad
It feels like real hair and looks like real roots. I tried to dye it and the color came off as soon as i put it under water. Although the dye started to come out is still is pretty good to practice dyeing hair on. if you want the color to stay then instead of washing the dye out, blow dry it after however long the hair color says to wait then comb through the hair while blow drying it and the color will stay. As long as you comb through it while you blow dry it, it wont feel crusty

Realistic hair for braiding
There is a good amount of hair for braiding. Table attachment is good and holds tight. Not good if you want to practice bangs but otherwise great!

Hair is soft and perfect for any cosmetologist in training or just for experimenting. I purchased for my daughters so they could practice hairstyles. The hair is long and tangle-free!
