Alexandria Restaurant Point of Sale Software, Restaurant Maid version 2.346

Have watched the very complete walk throughs on youtube. Helped greatly on setup and options. Ran into a few snags with happy hour price reductions and live entertainment increases. Received 4 different options on how to make this possible. Wow'd the crap out of me. Years back I have dealt dealt with (expensive) Intuit POS software and was problematic. I have been "burning in" software for 4 days now and have been smooth sailing. I can't believe the level of excellence in service I have received through email. They say less than one hour and they mean it. Very precise, straight to the point.Last night I purchased a cheese steak down the street and the poor girl, 15 touches on screen to check me out. With this software, it is 4 keys and BAM, transaction done. We are a VERY active VFW in south Jersey and training the bar staff was very easy. I thought I would have to bring in tooth pulling pliers and whip and chair but very surprised how non computive bar tenders adapted to software.I have been researching software for months and couldn't believe the prices on JUST SOFTWARE! Restaurant Maid is the biggest bang for the buck you could ever get.It is a pleasure to deal with superior support staff through email, as I am definitely not a phone call kind of person.If you looking for a SOLID POS system with a company that stands behind their product, look no further... I was NOT paid for this review!2/4/2020 UPDATEThe register this is replacing is 20+ years. End of shift prints out what was sold, date and cost. For this software to perform this SIMPLE function requires a 32 page LANDSCAPE report. Asked maker to adjust this and was given NO HELP AT ALL! "Oh well live with it or go somewhere else." Boatload C&P of "why we are not going to help you."

I gotta say after being a long time user of apple iPad and Shopkeep POS for our food truck #Tuscan Street Pizza, I'm super happy I switched to Restaurant Maid software and the touchscreen PC Platform. Very easy to use. Printers are inexpensive. It blows the Shopkeep system out of the water that had numerous glitches, card reader connection issues, and expensive. Shopkeep customer support was rude as hell at times as well, if you could get them. Alexandria Computers help has been great the little I’ve needed it. I’ve dumped the monthly expense and dumped my iPad. Best move I’ve made all year.

Awesome floor design, control and sleek look. Many buttons, with categories and modifiers. Countless functions to fit any restaurant format(dine in / carry out). Countless credit card processing options. Over all the most option packed and well thought out software I've ever tested and used. And it is so affordable, it is hard to believe.
