I love my MacBook Pro and my studio display, but when I'm outside, it's terrible to try to see the screen. This anti-glare film is perfect! It's a two pack, so I took one and sliced it up to fit my MacBook Pro. it works great in the full-brightness of the sun. For my studio display, it works great. due to it's size, it's a little difficult to handle when applying without getting lint in it, but if you had a second set of hands, it would be really easy. I will say though, that in the evening, the clarity of the screen is affected a little bit, especially typefaces which come out looking like their not anti-aliased. other than that, great product.

I was looking forward to receiving this product. I have a lot of glare on the screen. The product does an very good job of reducing glare. Unfortunately, it is impossible to install. It is shipped rolled so it is curved and trying to roll up during installation. The is no way to align the the product to the screen so it is not askew. There is plastic film on the part that is removed after installation so it is impossible to see if you are getting air trapped under the product. There were so many air bubbles after installation that it was impossible to remove them all. Don't buy this product.

Received the 2 of protectors a week ago and tried to install them on my 27" monitor. First try was a disaster, film was quite rolled up and wouldn't stay flat, so a fair bit of air bubbles were stuck were the ends curved. downwards A bunch of dust was trapped in too, due to their plastic squeegee being unsealed and left to rattle inside the tube, a lot of shedding of dust from the cloth end of the squeegee. 2nd try was even worse, with air bubbles everywhere, at least a hundred on them. The final and 3rd piece was much better, at least two-third of the screen was bubble free, save the odd bubble here or there. The remaining bubbles are difficult to squeegee out, but I'm getting there. The matte effect is really noticeable and helped cut the glare coming from the windows and lights, which the main reason I bought the thing. the screen does exhibit some DSE (dirty screen effect) or fuzziness when looking at bright images. Text is still sharp and not bad at all. Waiting to try out the protector during daytime. All in all a useful thing but not worth the amount of aggravation and time wasted installing the thing.One thing to note is that it measures exactly 27", so some screens have a black bordesr between the bezel and LCD itself, so alignment should be where the border starts, otherwise the protector won't cover the LCD on the other end.

It does indeed cut the glare WAY down. It also makes your screen fuzzy (unlike the nice matte finish you have on your laptop screen). As to installation, it's just like a cell phone screen protector (a pain in the neck to install), only way bigger, and so, more uruly. You need an almost laboratory-grade dust-free environment to install it, or you will most definitely get bits of dust -- and bubbles -- stuck between the screen and film. All-in-all, though, for lack of a better solution at the time of this writing, this item may be your best bet for cutting the glare.

Very good product - it goes on easily and does not make the screen dim like other protectors. Also, you can view the monitor from the side which is nice - some screen protectors have a privacy feature where you must be directly in front to view the monitor - this one doesn’t. It comes with a plastic smoother, the same size of credit card. KInd of hard to get all the air bubbles out, but you can't see them unless you look from the side. Good product, all pros, no cons.

Absolutely but this if you need a screen protector but not if you also need anti glare functionality.Ordered the supposed anti-glare version of this project. The packaging seems to be for a protector but with an added sticker dubbing it anti glare. I was suspicious but figured it was worth trying.It felt sturdy and thick enough to resist bends and creases that easily occur in cheaply made protectors. It was not easy to install without getting air bubbles behind it, which is actually a good thing as it speaks to the product’s adhesion. After carefully installing it I noticed no change in color or clarity of the screen. Again, excellent for a screen protector. However, I still couldn’t see the screen during times of the day when I experience the worst glare. Upon peeling it back and comparing the difference I realized there was none.Ignoring the air bubbles in the photos (this was due to my quickly peeling it back, photographing, and just letting it quickly reattach) you can see where it does adhere there is no difference in the glare from the photo of the bare screen. This is going back to Amazon as it’s useless for my needs.

This is basically like a giant smart phone screen cover. It’s difficult to install and does a poor job of reducing glare. I would definitely not buy again!

This was the perfect solution to my problem - my home workstation is directly across from a large window, making it almost impossible to read any thing on the screen. Installed easily and eliminated virtually all the glare!
