Lovely Pandan!
My pandan plant came on the day I was told it would come so immediately transplanted it and watered it. it was so healthy and planted in moist soul in a little container. It was packaged very well in a sturdy hard box. I am just so happy with it and can't wait to watch it grow! If you want a really healthy beautiful pandan plant order from this company! It came from Lakeland, FL and I use to live in Tampa so it brought back good memories of my years in FL!

I’m not sure what I did wrong or if I did anything wrong
My plant died within a few weeks of purchasing it. Its first leaf started to shrivel two days after I received the item. I kept wondering if I had done something wrong, but it seems like there was something wrong with a plant. Who knows it’s hard to prove.

Great little healthy bare root plant is ready to grown as soon as it's potted!
This bare root plant came in wonderful condition and was ready to start growing as soon as it was potted! Lovely and adds great traditional flavor for a few recipes I'm experimenting with! Even if the plant doesn't look like much, if the roots have a firm feeling they've got life, just give them the soil, moisture, the light they need and some time and you should not be disappointed.

Arrival today
I was hesitant in ordering this pandan plant due to reviews I read, pros and cons but I decided to give it a try and if it fails it’s failsBut I was happy, it looks healthy and just need to follow instructions and I guess lots of TLC but our weather may change soon and it might not adapt to the new climate here in LA CA but I’ll take a chance. I’ll update later of how the progress of it but for now I just 🫰🏻 and hope for the best

Small but alive
I live in an apartment and it was delivered to the apartment mailbox in a timely matter. If left too long in the mailbox, it would dry out and die. I repotted mine the next day. The roots filled the container it came with. Do not over pot the plant. For a plant that would thrive in a tropical habitat, nearly anything would kill this plant in America. Pandan likes shady areas with bright light. Direct sunlight will yellow the leaves and the plant will die. Over watering or under watering, it will die. Too much wind, it will die. If water gets trapped between the foliage, it would die, so don't leave it under the rain. Poor drainage would rot the roots. Sudden temperature change, you guessed it, it would die. Let the roots fill and hit the bottom of the pot. That would cause it to sprout new seedlings, either from between foliage or at the base of the plant. Seedlings can then be transplanted when sufficient roots are seen. That won't be any time soon since this plant is still very small. At least a few years til that happens. The condition of the plant people received might be due to where they live. I love the plant I received. It was in perfect condition. I live in San Diego.. Until it is well developed or cooked, there wouldn't be any pandan smell. Hope this helps some people.

Great customer service. Plant died both times with experienced gardeners
We aren't sure what happened both times, but the pandan died in the hands of my experienced parents. The first one was indoor in my home for a week alongside other, young plants and herbs, and when I finally handed it over to my parents that weekend, they noticed that the center was already browning and that some of the leaves easily came off. That came as a surprise to me as the plant arrived in a fairly green/green-yellow state. A few days later, they said the plant died (they had kept it outside in indirect sunlight during the day and brought back inside overnight when temperatures fell to 60F). They said that the leaves completely came loose when tucked on.Seller was sympathetic and indicated that sometimes things happen and graciously sent a second plant that arrived in fairly green/green-yellow condition. I gave it to my parents two days after delivery and told them to keep it indoor overnight and in indirect sunlight during the day until it grew enough to be repotted and kept outside. A week later, dad informed me that it, too, had died. Symptoms: the same as before. Leaves plugged off easily with the center completely mushy and brown. Perhaps we did something wrong, but the directions didn't say to do anything special. We kept the soil semi-moist with good drainage, out of direct sunlight and cold evening temperatures. When asking the seller for tips on what we may have possibly done wrong with the 1st shipment, we were told to add fertilizer. We did that for plant #2, but it too, died. My parents' other plants and herbs have continued to grow, but the pandan just did not work for us.Seller said that because a replacement was sent, there was nothing more they could do for us. I'd be interested to know if anybody else in Southern California was able to grow this successfully between late December to mid-January.

Don't recommend it
Plant came as expected but all leaves gray colors and only three leaves light green/yellow colors. I planted it same day thinking it will survive but there is no hope. All leaves are getting gray and dying. This is my first online purchase and never will be again
