Saves a ton of money
If you have a unit that you can just cut out of a roll and don't need the ones with cardboard around it or make your own frame this roll have lasted me almost 2 years at 30 something dollars. Buying them at home depot for 18.00 each each month I don't ever let them in there for three months was 162.00 a year there are about three months I don't use the air or heat at all. All I have to do is place the frame on it, cut it and then zip tie it to the frame with the little 4 or 6 inch zip ties. Pop it back in Done.

I wanted filters on the battery chargers with fans
Even as clean as I can keep the house, there is still some dust and I have several Lithium battery chargers for e-bikes and solar generators that have fans. I cut pieces of this filter media to cover the fan intake grill, I use double sided tape to make the filter squares stick. I did not "treat" the filter cloth with filter oil (see K & N filter oil kit) because I felt the cloth was good enough. I have other uses for the cloth as vent filter and so on.

This is thinner than my previous filters but work just fine. Easy to cut into desired size.
