Ziploc VersaGlass Container, Tall Round 25-Ounce

I love this container. I use it to bring my lunch to work every day. It weighs less than most glass food storage containers so it's lighter in my bag as I commute to work. It's the perfect size for lunch. Because it's made of glass you don't have to worry about plastics leaching into your food as you microwave it. The only drawback is the insecure lid. There are no latches or closures holding the lid on so if I'm using it to transport soup I put it in a plastic bag to make sure it doesn't leak in my bag.

I bought these to use in a microwave. Problem: The rounded sides of the bowl make these bowls very hard to pick up using a hot pad. Combine that weakness with how hot the glass gets makes these bowls impossible to pick up in your classic over-the-range microwave.Oh, and the vendor's response? "We offer no returns, feel free to contact the manufacturer. Good luck." In short, you are on your own with a bad purchase.Granted, this was my mistake. I accept that. I've now given all 4 bowls to Salvation Army, and will never do business with this Amazon vendor, EVER again.Buyer beware, this product has a sizeable weakness.

Nice food storage concept. I have six of these in two sizes. Over time the lids seem to seal less and less eventually just sitting on top with no true seal.

I bought these because the size and shape were perfect for my needs and I wanted a set in glass that could be taken from freezer to refrigerator and once thawed, even able to be used in the microwave. But it is a tough- to- find size. Ziplock undoubtedly discontinued them due to problems with the lid leaking and failing to achieve an air-tight seal. Still, the $5.99 I paid for my first ended up escalated to $13.99 when I bought three more. For my needs they fit the bill and I didn't feel too abused since I could always add a layer of plastic wrap under the lid if needed and after all, glass lasts. But, imagine my shock when a vender upped the price to more than $68 per jar for remaining stock! Umm, no. (eyeroll)

I put soup in this container to take with me for lunch, and the lid would not stay on! I clamped the lid extra tight before I left the house, by the time I drove 15 minutes to work it was leaking tomato soup all over my lunch bag!!The bowl itself is really sturdy and did well in the microwave, but there's nothing on the bowl for the lid to lock on to. This bowl/lid isn't designed for travel. So if you're just going put leftovers in this bowl and throw it in the fridge, you should be fine. However I bought this specifically, so that I could take soups, and pastas for lunch.

Get rid of your plastic. This stuff is outstanding! Easy to clean, durable, and will last a lifetime. Buy it now.

The glass quality is great, the problem is that the seal on the closure is not tight at all. It simply does not seal, DO NOT put liquids in here it will spill. I am stuck using these with only dry things or cut fruit (with no liquids). I have to use rubber bands to hold it in and can not put anything to soupy or with dressing otherwise it would spill.I would not recommend this product or product line ... sorry .. None of the sizes I bought seal.

Glass container itself is well made but like other reviews, lid is not tight. It will keep food fresh but is not liquid tight, must be kept upright. I bought the 13oz as well and it has same results.
