Youth small is about a size 8 in boys
My son is a size 5/6. I bought the youth small it's more like a size 8 or 10 in boys. Hope this helps.

VERY POORLY MADE
Looked good when we first got it in the mail but it’s came from out of country so it took a while to get here. There are no labels attached that tell you how to wash and dry so I put it in with the delicates. When it went through the wash, the bottom seam started coming undone. My son hasn’t even worn this shirt yet! Poor quality which makes this shirt not worth the price.
